I always intended to watch Space Dandy but I keep getting distracted, hopefully the English dub doesn't ruin the story.

No one bit on my joke ban on Mike, oh well. I was curious to see what reactions were. Plenty of you were posting in Survivor thread so I thought someone would respond in the ten+ minutes he was a grey-name.

I do wonder if I'll ever actually have to ban one of you.

speaking of the survivor thread, I think my sasuke-like move have caused some bond breaking

Nah, I'm not like that. I generally stick to community threads and game-specific OTs, or maybe recommendation type threads, and sometimes news/events. I typically don't care about the spec wars or digital foundry or NPD/sales threads, so you won't see me bearing down on some of those morons - there are plenty of other mods who take care of that stuff fairly well (although I will silently ban people when I see it or if it is brought to my attention). In here I try to just be a participant and a little laid back, I'm a bit more formal in other threads.

Back on topic through, this thread does a pretty good job as I said. Community Threads do have a tendency to become 'chatrooms', but most of the 'chatting' here is at least tangentially on topic. I did want the preshow stuff to be cut back a little bit, for what I hope are obvious reasons.

On another note, there's no way the March thread will last 5 weeks if the rate from the new year is any indication.

I know I hated on Valvrave, it was just this weird semi-serious pseudo-comedy that rubbed me all the wrong ways. I can't bring myself to laugh at stupid characters doing stupid things when the tone is largely serious and melodramatic. I think I would have enjoyed it more if it was more obviously comedic rather than skirting the lines of parody . So I suppose nothing against the show, it just isn't for me.

Of course discussing the shows themselves, reactions, and future shows could be said elsewhere. I understand that.

Except Free! has the guys shirtless/in tiny speedos all the time. Like they understand why people are watching it and don't give a fuck!

I do have to say one thing for K-on, it hasn't completely invaded my tumblr feed. Had to actually block the tag "Free!" to keep my feed clean of yaoi. I mean, I don't care about an occasional piece of sexy art here or there, but having to see a bunch of super buff dudes going at it all the time started getting really annoying.

Guys, let's not. I've been a part of that thread and have friends from it , it's also pretty damn hypocritical in many aspects to me from where I'm standing to see this talk, but mostly just uncomfortable .
