Yakuza 0 Nintendo Switch 2 vs PS5 (PS4 BC) Early Graphics and JP vs EN Dubbing Comparison

if a U$ 500 console using tech from 2018/2019 ( and i m been really optimistic about how old the tech behind SW2 is ) isnt obsolete to you, i dont know what obsolete is, this U$500 piece of high end tech dosnt even have a OLED screen XD
The Switch 2 is using technology from 2020, just like the current gen consoles. That's even ignoring the clock gating enhancements taken from Ada.

I CANNOT watch One Piece dub.....the Japanese voices for that show its too iconic.
Man latest episode when Kuma cried his mother's death wouldn't not even the same by another actor/actress... Japanese VA is more than just hearing lines being read, it's about interpretation, it's like an acoustic thing I can't explain, same happens with some contents being on british english instead of american english, I think E33 in american english would suck so hard and wouldn't even make me feel the same (specially with slangs and so)

Well said, I couldn't agree more.

A port of a 10 year old game? That's exciting for a new system slated to be released in 2025.

Suppose it will be priced fairly considering it's so old, has been on sale in most places for a few £s, and it is just a port and not a remaster etc.... oh, look, £45, which was more than it cost (at least over here) for the game at the original launch.

Probably the appeal to a LOT of third parties is it's new to Nintendo customers, so they can charge top dinero.

Why is it EVERY time someone shows the negative action Nintendo does or in this case, a third party doing something on a Nintendo system, you instantly put on your fedora and Nintencuck gag ball and use whataboutisms? Why can't you be a fucking grown up and think "actually yeah that appears to be a bit of a bad thing" in context, rather than thinking perfection exists and it's Nintendo?

Do you think I would defend anyone over this? In fact, there was a thread about The Last of Us collection, and I, like almost everyone, was bored out of disgust by the repeated reselling of the same fucking 2 games.

Yeah I appreciate that, especially when Nintendo and third party ports haven't exactly been hand in hand for generations bar the odd random port that really shouldn't have happened in terms of quality.

They lost Call of Duty after like 1 port on the Wii U (I think it was a black ops), their Fifa games were even legacy editions i.e all the "new" tech put into the game was absent and they just got team / roster updates (tbf, EA did this with Steam recently until very recently). Just a couple of examples of usually huge sellers skipping Nintendo, but if Nintendo can bring proper third party games to the Switch 2, it would be a big help / positive.

SWITCH 2 BEST VERSIONS WOW

Maybe for me, part of it is the fact that in recent years I've learned some Japanese. When I was younger, I was almost always going for dubs in anime, and games. Still don't mind the dub in games if acting is good, and they aren't using real world likenesses.

But yeah, learning some Japanese definitely made it so that I enjoy things with Japanese language more. My vocabulary is ridiculously small, but I understand sentence structure, and enunciation of words at least now.

😂 These Switch 2 comparison are really causing some people to lose their minds on the interwebs.

They always had the "Nintendo looks like Atari" graphics jokes. They don't know what to do anymore.

Double dipping on this and also Suikoden.

I want to have this and infinite wealth installed so I can have both flavors of yakuza.

I put subs on everything, as I just feel like I mishear stuff all the time too, English or not. I also feel like general dialogue clarity in modern films just isn't as good as it was in the 40's through the 80's, sometimes around the 90's dialogue in film starting doing the more subdued, subtle thing, and I just often can't hear what these fuckers are saying. How about trying to enjoy a Nolan film without the subtitles? I don't know if it's even possible without the most ridiculous speakers imaginable, and considering how wide his ranges tend to be in his films, the next loud scene will likely hurt your ears pretty badly if you can hear the actors clearly. I have a pretty respectable sound set up in the game room, 7.1 surround and all, atmos, but damn if I still have to have subs on everything just to understand what's being said. Such is why I suppose I prefer watching films at home now rather than going to the theatre; I leave theatrical showings often not understanding about a third of the dialogue lol.
i do not have a sound system just tv sound so if a dvd or a bd have 2,0 track i pick it other wise the talking is to low i have to turn it up and then the music sound fx blow my ears off and i have to turn back down
