Thanks to the dedication of developers and publishers, we are launching http://FreedomToBuy.games.

To raise awareness on censorship in gaming, 13 games are now available for free for 48h as a part of stand for creative freedom and preservation.

We believe that if a game is legal and responsibly made, players should be able to enjoy it today – and decades from now. It's our statement: when games are delisted today because of discomfort, reviving them tomorrow becomes exponentially harder.

The vast majority of people don't care about any of this controversy. We have enough places on the internet for perverts to go. I don't really see a reason to create more perv-zones.

This comment is giving the same vibe as "if you don't have anything to hide you shouldn't have a problem with 'random' stop and search laws"

You're right. Most people have no idea this is going on and have no idea why it's happening. But do you think a group emboldened by a small victory here is going to stop at incest simulators? My guess is you're going to see the ESRB targeted next.

Jack Thompson is somewhere kicking himself for not being more subtle in his attempts back in the day.

It's not about phase 1. It's about phase 4.

Right now we're at the stage where we see the bald purple guy with a gauntlet look into the camera for 2 seconds and 90% of the audience asks 'who's that?'

You need to look further down the road. They start with the egregious stuff, and when that's gone they move on to everything else. The more success they have with censorship, the more emboldened they become. We don't need a handful of people imposing their will on the free market.

Being a DIK is one of my favorite adult only games. Very hot girls ans scenes, VN style with some exploration point and click areas, minigames, collectibles, decent writting with great sense of humor.
Treasure of Nadia is also great.

I also dint knew GOG had NSFW games.

GOG has launched a new initiative titled Freedom to Buy, aimed at raising awareness around the constantly growing issue of game censorship and delistings.

Several games that have faced content restrictions or platform removals are being made available for free for 48 hours through a dedicated website, FreedomToBuy.games.

Code redeemed successfully!

Great news! You've successfully added 1 item to your GOG account.

⚠️ Due to high demand, your game might take a little longer to appear in your Owned Games section, but don't worry — it'll be there shortly!

WTF did I just redeem?
Never mind, pervy games, I see them now.

The below games are free on GOG for 2 days. Link at the bottom.

"Censorship is quietly deciding which games you can buy.

We are fighting back.

Some games vanish. Not because they broke the law but because someone decided they shouldn't exist.

For 48 hours, these games are free, because if a game is legal, you should be free to buy it.
  • POSTAL 2
  • Agony + Agony UNRATED
  • Leap of Love
  • Being a DIK - Season 1
  • Leap of Faith
  • House Party
  • HuniePop
  • Lust Theory
  • Treasure of Nadia
  • Summer's Gone - Season 1
  • Fetish Locator Week One
  • Sapphire Safari"

...Does GOG have the option to hide certain games in your library? Asking for a friend.

I didn't realize they all came in a bundle. I just wanted Postal2 and Agony for the violent degeneracy; now I've got a bunch of pervy degeneracy. And unlike my Steam library, GOG can be transferred to my heirs upon death, so now I've got some explaining to do.

Saw it on X and didn't even look at the game list since I love accepting free games from GOG whenever they show up.

Then I noticed what I got.

Smart marketing, unless they somehow get targeted by any censorious government.

I do think the next phase of this will inevitably hit more horror games.
