1 Gig Mem Pro Duo - $99

i remember the last time the website said they had them in stock, i called the store and they didn't have any... that was in early april tho... doesnt quite count as doing business i guess, but they were pretty nice on the phone...

Did any of the guys that ordered from DELL get theirs? I don't recall ever seeing the conclusion of that deal.

Basically it looks like SanDisk got their shit together. Now I can finally watch the perfect laserdisc versions of Star Wars IV thru VI I just PSP9'd.

Greedo shoot first? NOT ON MY WATCH.

Serious... do you have a DVD Drive Stinkles? Care to burn those files to a DVD? Hell I'll buy and ship you the DVD-R....

RE: greedo, LDs.

I can't. I am in a position where IP rights are very important. Even LUCAS'!

Back when I was punk rawk, I would have.

does the sandisk one come with an adapter to fit in a standard MS reader?

oh and another endorsment for B&H photo - good guys, if you are ever in NY you have to visit the store. Its amazing. I almost wept at the sheer volume of electronics on display and salesmen that can actually help you.

hmm, how would i go about in getting my laserdisc versions copied over to my PC? i have the original laserdiscs as well :P

BH Photo/Video is a pretty darn reputable site. I actually use them for all my camera and video gear, and have never had a problem with them.

Yeah it comes with the adapter. The only one that doesn't come with an adapter are the "gaming" ones.

hey stinkles, how about if we email you photos of us holding our Star wars DVD boxsets next to today's newspaper, to prove that we've already paid to have access to Lucas' IP?

HAHAHA

Big thanks to Stinkles for this! i've never ordered with B&H though i know they're a reputable company, but the process was extremely easy. You don't have to sign up to purchase, just enter your info, and you can also pay via PayPal. My total with shipping came to $103.65. Luckily there's no tax here to NC.

This is a legit store btw. Very well known.

I can vouch for them. They are honest, and for videography stuff like lighting or tripods etc. they are usually the cheapest. I've ordered from them plenty of times with 100% satisfaction.

EDIT: THX stinkles, put my order in. I love paypal.

Damn... i just bought a 512....

But i didnt open it.... maybe i will order one here, and then take back the 512 tonight... sounds good to me... thanks man...

WOOHOO! I just got a tracking # for my mem stick!!!

Considering they are in NYC I should have it by Fri/Sat.

Best way - get a (rare-ish, but easily found on eBay)

Pioneer Elite DVL91 DVL-91 Laserdisc DVD Player

with - gasp - component out. Then dump it onto your PC via a nice ATI All in Wonder or similar with component in on the breakout box/dongle. This may be over engineering it, but that's what I had. For PSP resolution, S-Video or composite into your PC would work just fine too. But you know, if you're going to all that trouble, do it right.

PS., just so folks remember they are on GAF, I would just like to add:

No 60fps, no sale.

Anybody done business with this site before?

I live in NY, and I have done walk in store business with them. B and H are a very reputable store, not to mention they have great prices. I bought my Nikon FM5 camera from them, and used to buy film from them all the time. They are very popular here in NY and art schools even recommmend buying audio/video equipment there. You have my thumbs up.

I was just checking out ATI's site and not even their latest X800 AIW card has component inputs. Can you point me to the card you have? Looking to replace my old old old AIW Radeon.

WTF? Did everyone who ordered get a tracking #? I hope my order went through.

Woot. Just ordered another. Does this mean a second wind for PSP in North America? No. It just means cataclysmic amounts of porn for me.

is that cheap? You can get about the same price of ebay... 0_0. I'd like more storage. Damn the PSP media capability. :(
