Fucking hell, I've been trying to log into the forums for awhile now to give Xmun a verbal thrashing, but I can't log in.

Seany, I was sent the email and pictures by the same guy. Stooge also apparantly knows about the topic, as Xmun sent him a link to it.
 
I like how they've even deleted the "11-21-05 is a hoax" sticky because they'd mentioned it in the conversation in the screengrabs.

It's like the whole thing has never happened!
 
Yeah, they deleted the thread in question. It is in my history, but when I click on it, its a bad link.
 
Meh, im bored of this now, it'll all be a distant memory by tomorrow anyway.

Sucks for the TXB mods to have all their plotting time wasted.

Another virual marketing site showed up that seemed to be about Halo 3.

People at Team Xbox were going nuts about it, with a 50 page thread.

It was posted here at GAF, and within 5 minutes we discovered that the site was actually a hoax made by TeamXbox admins to smite their own forum members.

When TXB found out we knew, they got Stooge to be a stooge and lie saying he did it. Thusly, they blamed everything on GAF saying we made the site

We've now owned them multiple times, due in part to our inginuity(sp), our brains, and most definitely from the pics I've been sent from someone who asked to remain nameless.
 
You kids should not be allowed to play unsupervised.
 
I like how their forums are still mysteriously down.

If you can't talk about how they owned themselves, the interese will decrease. Keep the forums down long enough, and no one at TXB will care that they're being bent over by their mods, and liking every second of it.

TXB's forums are always down for about one hour at the same time every day. Something about vbulletin optimizing the database.

I can't believe I missed this thread till now but it's fucking awesome. The amount of ownage in here is unbelievable. What a waste that something like this has to occur during the forum's non-peak period of the day.

And I think its incredible how much effort went into the hex and binary sites. Those were incredible mindfucks for people who actually believe in the hoax initially. Those guys must be super pissed that so much effort was wasted.

Gotta love GAF...

The supposed 'full revelation', but seems more like one of the people involved falling on his sword to protect the others. Some slightly far-fetched explanations of people using the name's xmum and TFX on their planning forum for fun, and Photoshopping TFX's name into a screengrab just for 'fun' as well.

Doesn't even mention the use of TFX's crashtodesktop.com to host the files, or the fact that on the planning forum grab they tell the supposed fake xmum to start a sticky in TXB which was then started. Yes, by xmum.

It all seems a bit tedious now, but it is amusing to see how clever they think they were and that they still seem to be spinning their way out of it. Oh, and they are still running and running with Stooge's one-off gay-porn comment!

What a half assed cop out. Yeah, it's really "convenient" that they left out all the crashtodesktop.com stuff links (which directly ties it to the person in question) as well as adding some bs about using other mods names "as a joke". Then he even goes as far as to state that the admin conversation was photoshopped (even though you can tell they weren't just by examining them).

Holy shit... if you're going to admit to something that's easily provable if you read through this thread, at least take full responsibility.

Now watch the readership swallow this half-assed admission, even though the proof is all here, because "GAF is evil".

Too bad the GAF logo contest is over... I'm sure we could have some Nazi variation submissions... :lol
 
They've got something set up somehow so when I enter my password, it doesn't accept it.

Does anyone else get this problem? When I try to log in, it blanks out my password field first, and then gives me the login attempt failed page.

Just it's told you far more about the people who run TXB than the people who post there.
