Yeah, thats me. Im going to take the blame for creating the TFX hoax, and tell them the actual website isnt a hoax at all. It was just mean ole stooge and GAF out to ruin their fun.

Summary: TXB mods created this bogus HATCH site to trick their members into thinking a Halo 3 announcement was coming on 11-21-05. However, once this 'news' hit GAF it was quickly debunked. At first, the TXB mods responsible attempted to cover it up by requesting the few people who found out the truth to keep quiet, but when that failed they began to ban GAFers and blame them for instigating trouble on their forums.

A quick look through the flash code on the site reveals this URL: (... and they still haven't got around to deleting it...)

I've fallen on the sword at TXB. Now we can find out if Teamxbox is really full of retards and they believe my post over there, or if they have enough brain cells between them to figure it out on their own.

FWIW, Im not defending TXB. There is a reason I havent posted there in well over a year, the website is shit. But Xmun is a really cool guy, and he asked me to do it.
 
Yeah, so here is the deal. I have no idea what the 11.21 website is about or who runs it. I just saw this was a big deal on teamxbox so I photoshopped the image to make it apear as though TFX had made the whole thing as one big hoax, there are a series of other photoshopped images I created that have yet to get out. I tried to use it to blackmail them into making me a mod at teamxbox (I have a long history of underhanded things in trying to become a mod here, so that I can ban superdud and then ban myself). I told gaming-age what I was doing, and they let the image get out, and the whole thing blew up in my face. My blackmail was gone, everyone thinks the whole thing is a big hoax by TFX and now Im getting banned at teamxbox. I dont post here a whole lot, so its not a huge deal.. but TFX and Xmun are good guys and we go back to pre-Xbox launch here so they made me a deal. I post this, tell everyone what I did and I only get banned for a month from teamxbox. If I dont do this, I get a nice perma-IP ban. Ive had one of those before, and they are hard to talk your way out of.

So, there is everything that I know. Ive got no idea what the site is or who makes it, but I apologize to TFX and teamxbox for any trouble I might have caused them. Oh, and Speevy is 'special'.

tis true, but Im really not getting anything out of it, other than seeing where this is meant to go. In fact, Im now banned at TXB. Xmun and I go way back, the two of us once created an entire website just so we could get an interview with Tim Shafer.

Let there be no confusion: THE WEBSITE IS A HOAX I photoshopped NOTHING. Im falling on the perverbial sword over there as a favor to Xmun. If the TXB posters swallow that pile of bullshit and go on with the thread as if nothing happened then they are truly a special, speevy level of retard.
