12 minute Xbox One dashboard demo

After all the hate and press debacles, the Xbox One is shaping up to be a pretty nice system. I actually really like some of the kinect features and I'm interested in xbox fitness.

Glad to see all the nice features us 3rd-Tier europeans won't ever see (at least TV wise), even when the Xone launches here in 1 or 2 years. To top it off resources that could be used for games are allocated to the multitasking/kinect, and we won't reap any of the benefits.

I for once am glad the PS4 didn't do such a bold move, sometimes being ahead of the curve is a bad thing if only 35-40% (US+UK mainly) of total costumers will get the full experience.

For those in the US/UK, I'm glad. It looks neat. Enjoy yourselves
;_;

Loved this video. Getting one after they work out all the kinks. My PS4 will keep me warm til them. This thing at $299 and all the features they promised would be invaluable in any home me thinks. Not bad MS, not bad...

Looks damn good!

Now all we need is a video dedicated to Snap and general Xbox One Apps, if they can make an App store similar to what Apple did with the iPhone and encourage devs to make Companion Apps for video games, that would be sick!

Finally a real video showing UI, but I didn't see avatars section? Yeah I know he used his avatar for gamepic but still, they could show us that too.

If you've used Windows 8 on a tablet you will know Snap is the greatest thing ever

Also.. people who say "why would i want to speak commands for everything" just don't get it.

If youre watching tv and a skype call comes in.. do you want to race around to look for the xbox controller do you want to say snap Skype and answer the call?

No one says you have to use the voice for everything.. but there are lots of moments when it works

Voice commands is a big part of the reason I am going all digital on the xb1. I love the idea of saying xbox play Forza and having it just start the game.

No friends, no skype calls. Therefore it's a shit feature ( for some )

I love it, I use snap 100% of the time I use my w8.1 machine, it's great.

I would like to go all digital but as far as I know my ISP has a cap. And even if its 250 gbs the size of these game files is concerning. That plus early on im guessing download times will be absolutely atrocious

Even with all the PSN problems my downloads this morning were really fast. I think this is also right in MS' wheelhouse so hopefully they will have the online sorted out at launch.

True I do have more faith in microsofts infrastructure on that one, however the data cap issue remains
