Total overrated garbage unworthy of Ren & Stimpy comparisons

Kill: Johnny Bravo
Aggressively unfunny

Save: Courage the Cowardly Dog
Underrated greatness and weirdness, the true successor to Ren & Stimpy. There was some really messed up stuff in this show.

So why not just save Ren & Stimpy? I figure it's gotten its due, Courage needs some more love.

How can you guys be trying to kill Ren and Stimpy when Carmen Sandiego, Hercules, etc, still exist?!

The creativity of animation and soundtrack alone for Ren and Stimpy are outstanding.
 
Kill: Dragonball Z - Pokemon was way better. I hate the animation style of DBZ.
Kill: Tale Spin - I was just never a fan of this show.
Save: Tiny Toons - It's tiny toons. Enough said.
 
I want to vote against R&S because the fans of this show are the reason why Angry Beavers left so early. However I know R&S is a good show so I can't vote against it. Having said that; how the hell is carmen sandiego STILL here? That show was absoloute garbage.

I liked the game show, but I never watched the cartoon for Carmen Sandiego. The Chief was the best part of the game show. I had no idea that she died and Adam Sandler's Anger Management was dedicated to her.

I just never watched Talespin. Seems like it could have been cool, but I missed it.

Save: Bobby's World

Uncle Ted reminds me so much of John Candy (Camp Candy wasn't on the list). Bobby was pretty cool and I dont mind Howie Mandell. This was one of the early cartoons and it was pretty good setting up what shows would come after it. Not one of my top spots, but it has a special place in my heart.

edit: I feel like I have just done something wrong, sorry beaver fans. I will truly miss ganging up on that show only for it to last one more round.

(I'm still not sure if this was the original or a spin off and I'm too lazy to Google search* it right now... "where on EARTH is Carmen Sandiego!?" Never heard of that one. "Where in the WORLD" I do remember though)

*edit: I just did a real quick Google Search, and I guess "Where in the World" was the original game show
"Where on Earth" was the cartoon. Vote remains the same. I had forgotten about the game show of the same name. used to watch that all the time too.

It was the Angry Beavers that killed Sailor Moon. It was a combination of Sailor Moons and Ren and Stimpys that took down The beavers.
 
The sheer variety of things being killed and saved today is...alarming.

It was the Angry Beaver vs Ren and Stimpy fight that killed Sailor Moon. Both sucked up so many votes that something else had to go instead.

I guess it's Swat Katz vs Ren and Stimpy today?

Seriously folks, I dont care what your beef is. Show had well done art, great soundtrack, good storyboarding on the shots for the action and if you're voting it down because "oh noes it had amnimal people" then you are insane. Show was great and the world was better for it. Swat Kats will always get a save vote from me.

Also if you haven't voted to kill Fantastic Max yet then you dont remember THIS

Love love love the movie. The show not so much. It boggled my mind how long that show was on. Casting Homer Simpson as the Genie was kinda funny but I couldn't un-head Homer.

I'm a big fan of cartoons that show the characters' imagination. Muppet Babies, Doug and Bobby's World were great examples of this.

I'm not sure. Unless my math is buggered, it'll be Carmen/Fantastic Max this time around. Bobby's World got two inexplicable saves, but...next time, I guess.

Ren and Stimpy sucked up a ton of the kills/saves again but didn't quite get there, thankfully.

Laptop broke. Desktop is back at school.

As to how, just a whole heck of a lot of copying and pasting. At least for the remaing list anyways. The rest is all typed out by me.

Kill: Eek! the Cat- I never watched it as a kid, from what I saw when looking up episodes on Youtube it was ok, but might as well kill this off.

Pokemon was interesting for a bit and to its credit it was immensely popular during the big Pokemon phase. Looking back though, it wasn't great and dragged as it went on. Especially with all the later seasons where it was recycle central. The mangas were a better interpretation of the source material.

Johnny Bravo wasn't my favorite Cartoon Cartoon but it was fairly entertaining and there's worse stuff on there.
 
Damn it! Looks like Eek and Bobbies World are going down. I enjoyed both shows as a kid. The Canadian mom and the uncle were both hilarious on BW and Eek was just plain Bonkers. Speaking of, wasn't "Bonkers" a very short lived Disney cartoon in the 1990's?

Rugrats and Tiny Toons are both awful. Only good things about Tiny Toons is that it eventually led to the awesomeness that is Animaniacs. Fuck Rugrats, overrated crap forced down on to children's throats into popularity.
