The name of the game for Wild World is "refinement." Nearly every major flaw or shortcoming of the GameCube version appears to have been addressed in the DS remake. The tedium of typing out letters to your fellow townsfolk with the GC controller is handily negated here. Penning a missive via stylus is quick and easy. And the general pointlessness of sharing heartfelt correspondence with inane, babbling computer-controlled animal people has been addressed by the system's multiplayer component. Now you can communicate with real people. (Admittedly, they might be babbling idiots, too.)

You can hype this all you want, but I imagine you will only be trading/messaging/talking with other N-Fanboys. Its probably a terrific game, but getting a parent to buy a DS USB dongle, have hi-speed internet and a copy of AC:DS is not exactly cheapsauce for parents. I think I will have a wait-and-see approach to this. If people are just getting the above products to swear and abuse the system fuckit, I can do that for a lot less money on other systems.

I think this will go over really well actually. Not Nintendogs or Mario Kart well, but reasonably well.

Animal Crossing DS vs. SOCOM PSP ... FIGHT!

I'm looking forward to ACDS (should be here any day now), but right now SOCOM PSP is pwning my ass. This game seriously rocks online.

What? No way. This is where Animal Crossing goes mainstream. It probably won't get Pokemon big, but I'm pretty sure that it's going to be the most popular DS game to date, to say the least.

It's a game with cute furry animals, that anyone can play without sucking at. My sister's addicted to it and she definitely isn't a gamer.

Could it have any more mainstream appeal?

I was commenting on your presence on a thread about a game you dislike. There's really no need for any more interpretaiton than that, although, you can be pretty thick sometimes, having watched you do your little shifty dance when you're original 'post' is singled out for criticism in vairous other threads where you've made a stupid comment.

There's apparently still demand for GameBoy classic by your count right? Since tens of millions have been sold and sold = demand!

No no, see, I was in here because I wanted to read what certain posters wrote. I always get a laugh. I commented for the absurdity of that statement, not to express dislike as some sort of solemn posting vow.

Besides, I don't post in these threads to troll the game. Just to tease people who love the game, 'cause we always have fun back and forths. Most people don't take me too seriously on this topic, just joke around. AniHawk and TekunoRobby knows what's up.

Hahahahah. Wow, did you really think that's what it meant? :lol GBC = not selling units anymore. The OTHER 'handheld' we were discussing = still is. A lot of 'em. But that's for another derailed thread, and for people who actually have reading comprehension skillz.

too bad the game comes after halloween. I wanted to celebrate it again but this time prepared. I had no single candy on monday in AC on the gamecube. :-(
