NFS:MW looks like fun and you could probably get a few rushes from being hunted.
PGR3 has some awesome environments, really looking forward to this one.
RR6 lol

Probably just a next gen whore.Mrbob said:Has Che become the resident 360 whore?
"Hey EA is here for Need for Speed"
"So?"
"It's for 360."
"I'll be right there!"
:lol
Mrbob said:RR6 frame rate does look bad.
Plus its basically a console version of the PSP version. I have this already. I'll pass.
PGR3 looks the best but in cockpit mode the tracks look so wide. Seems a little boring.
If anything, I would pick up Need for Speed. Looks pretty good and more importantly looks really fun. I'm not a big racing fan but if I had to choose one I would go with NfSMW after what I saw.
chespace said:Out of all the racing games, it has the most smooth and consistent fps hands down.
chespace said:NFS: MW is pretty awesome. In a perfect world, everyone would buy all 3 games because they each fill a different niche. NFS is intense, while PGR3 is immersive, and RR6 is butter smooth zen.
Sadly, funds are limited.

citrus lump said:Is there any substantial change to the "feel" of these games?
I never really liked PGR or RR, and the last NFS game I played was High Stakes on PSone.
If I get a 360, I'll probably go for NFS and Madden.
I feel so casual/mainstream. :lol
chespace said:If anything, I think PGR3 has the biggest amount of added features and improvements. It also has my vote for must-buy at launch.

Does anyone know if they build up during the course of the race and if so, is there a "Car Wash" mode to not only clean the windows so you can see the road clearer but clean the car for replay/record/photo mode?

I actually think the smudges look good though, makes it look more realistic.
Didnt the first GT have a car wash?
moowear said:If you're referring to Sega GT, ya, if I remember correctly, they did have a car wash.
chespace said::lol I imagine he's talking about Gran Turismo.
Sega GT... haha.
chespace said:One note about the RR6 footage: it does look bad for some bizarre reason. I've been playing the game for review and it certainly doesn't suck at all. Out of all the racing games, it has the most smooth and consistent fps hands down.
We asked Namco for footage on this game and that's what they gave us. Kinda weird, considering the driving was all wack too.I certainly wouldn't drift like that. Amateurs!

Well, which one do you see yourself playing first?
StoOgE said:Yeah, I meant Gran Turismo.
I did own the first Sega GT though. That game was ass. Someone at Sega decided being hard to control was the same as realistic control.
Mrbob said:Well that is good. I thought I read RR6 is 60FPS locked.
Does RR6 have any new tracks at all or are they all the same tracks as the PSP version?
chespace said:A ton of new tracks not in the PSP version. RR6 is absolutely huge. Probably the biggest RR yet.
Mrbob said:Sweet. I thought the game was a straight PSP port with online play because I keep on seeing the same tracks in the video. Do you know how many extra tracks are in?
RR6 with all the new tracks plus the PSP nitro + drift system and online play may be the winner.
chespace said:I don't know exactly how many new tracks there are, but I'm a good portion of the way through the game and there are plenty I haven't seen from previous RR's. I'll ask Namco and see if I can get a direct answer.
Like all RR's, the game starts off painfully easy and continues to be a breeze for a very long time. Then you hit a wall (quite literally) and then the REAL GAME begins!
