Was watching the Sopranos and got me thinking about some tropes we always see in Mafia stuff and if it was true
1. Goomahs. I am sure mob guys bang whores or have side pieces but all of em and nice pieces of ass ? Some of these mob guys are old fat fucks. Do they really all have side girlfriends ? What if some of em just like having a wife and really love them?
2. Breaking Balls. Again do all mob guys always go around insulting each other where eventually it leads to someone getting beaten up? You would think they would stop at some point to avoid the beatings.
Personally I think Goodfellas just made a bunch of tropes and since its cool to be a tough guy who bangs lots of hot chicks every mafia movie show added it in and Mob guys rolled with it. Makes em look cool and tough.
I think these 2 things are mad up Hollywood bullshit. What say you ?
