McCarthy, time to pitch the game of your life.


Me and my roommate's set of drinking games for tonight's Thirsty Thursday game(and it applies to both teams):

anytime anyone strikes out = 5 drinks
any run = 5 drinks
anytime any pitcher walks anyone = 5 drinks
single = 2 drink
double = 4 drinks
triple = 6 drinks
homer = 10 drinks

and they stack, so a three run homer is equal to 25 drinks. gonna be a fun night, win or lose

If you woulda told me 3 months ago that I want both McCarthy and Contreras starting in the play-offs, I woulda sent you to the looney bin.

it blows my mind listening to white sox announcers. shouldnt announcers be middle of the road and just announce games and not be blatant fans of the team? it doesnt bother me, i could care less...its just weird listening to it.

nope, not Hawk and DJ. they call the sox all year long, they pull for the sox all year long.
every crew is like that, they're just not as blatant. listening to cleveland's announcers, they were trying to be subtle pricks about it.

"36,000 in attendance tonight. I'm sure there won't be anywhere near that many the next few games, seeing that this is buy one get one free night."

He was wrong about everything. It wasn't even buy one get one free night. Fucking pricks.
BTW, we've had spectacular attendance all season long. But they wouldn't know that. They talked like the Jake was Yankee Stadium.

twins played like total shit. we coulda won this game numerous times. McCarthy is great, and our hitting continues to fucking suck cock. fuck this. we blew this so many times.
 
after this game, i'm fucking sick. we don't deserve to make the fucking playoffs.

i'm done posting in this thread till we win a significant game, which may not ever happen. fucking losers and chokers is what this team is full of.
 
Alright seriously. I need the fuckin White Sox to get their asses in gear. Keep Cleveland in the Wild Card hunt, and the Yanks will handle the East. The Red Sox missing the playoffs entirely is just too sweet to pass up now.

Everyone at work this morning walked by my office, smiled, shook their heads and walked away. Bastards.

IF the White Sox happen to make the play-offs, which ain't looking too likely, they're going to be too drained to do anything but lose. Bastards.
 
The last 3 games of the year for the White Sox and Red Sox will be good.

Red Sox vs Yankees
White Sox vs Indians

White Sox have a 3 game lead on the Red Sox for the Wild Card. Red Sox play the Yankees 3 games, so I don't think the White Sox should lose the wild card.

Speaking of wild card, Cubs and Stros just started. Go Cubs! Lets keep Houston out of the playoffs! :D
