manny hits another home run, 11-5 now

john gibbons got himself thrown out for arguing a home run. idiot

it wasnt inside the park, it went above the monster but the umps almost blew the call.

"AT BOSTON - MID INNING UPDATE
PLAY: M Ramirez inside-the-park home run to deep left, T
Nixon scored."

^^^That's what I read at USAToday.com. Odd. Anyway, thanks for clearing it up.

Maybe the Dan Kolb Experience will take a night off with the Braves facing Clemens. Safe assumption since the Braves can't hit the low end of the freaking Phillies rotation right now.

The Jays should bounce back when Doc hits the mound tomorrow and hopefully he'll go 6+ innings since the relief pitching is horribly inconsistent.

They also need Koskie to step it up since he's leaving too many men on base.

Anyway, they should do fine tomorrow.

If Willis throws another CG shutout tonight, I burn all of my Yankee shit (including 1 Louisville Slugger Dave Winfield autographed little league bat, Munson signed rookie card, and Don Mattingly unopened first series Starting Line Up figure) and jump on the Marlins bandwagon.

Yankees 13 runs in the bottom of the 2nd. :lol

TB should be able to come back with their own power-hitting roiders, tho, like Alex Sanchez.

Dammit, I wanted a few more Devil Ray runs. I bet my brother $10 that Jaret Wright was going to have an era above 4.5 tonight.

TORRE: "LISTEN, IF YOU GUYS DON'T SCORE SOME RUNS, THE BOSS IS GOING TO CUT ME!"

SHEFFIELD: "AW COACH DON'T BE SAYIN' THAT HE JUST KIDDIN PROLLY!"

TORRE: "NO, HE SHOWED ME THE KNIFE AND EVERYTHING!"

Blue Jays with 25 LOB today..... :lol

Nice to see everyone's cheering for the Sox and Yankees.....wouldn't want those free-spending Jays to get some love.

I-R-S!

I-R-S!

Whoo!!!

I'm gonna sew this patch on to my Yankees and Red Sox gear to show my support for my beloved institutions:

Did I mention that I had my fingers crossed when I made that silly Willis comment about burning my 29 years of Yankee shit? :D

Hopefully, this is the kind of lead the Yanks shit bullpen can't blow.. can they?

sorry buddy, if it makes you feel any better, the Sox left 17 on base

That's ok. The only thing that makes me feel better is my team winning, I can't take pleasure from other teams winning, unless they're my division rivals. I guess that's why our resident Mets/Yankees fan enjoyed the Jays loss so much.

Did anyone really think Jaret Wright was going to be a positive addition to this staff? He's pissing away a 13 run lead.

How fucking awful is that?

Phew Alex Sanchez and his monster roid problem GIDP! Way to get out of that 5 run inning Jaret!

With any luck, Joe lets him pitch the next inning and he blows out his arm again.

Well, I did. I didn't think it was possible for anyone to be worse than Loaiza was last year.

Well, THAT ABOUT WRAPS IT UP FOR THE NATIONALS.

I'm looking forward to tomorrow night. Our ace versus the Marlins makeshift fifth pitcher.

VIIIIDROOO!!

speshylives can remain a Yankee fan! :lol

EDIT: AstroLad, I bet my brother $10 that Jaret Wright was going to have an era above 4.5 tonight. For an inning I was worried that the Rays wouldn't be able to take advantage of Wrights mediocre stuff, but happily I was wrong. :D

No-hitter for Odalis through 6... :D Third shutout in four games for the Dodgers?

Noooo.. I totally jinxed it ><

Did you become a baseball fan like yesterday? I mean seriously how the hell can you do that. Ah well, still a great game for Odalis, but come on man! :P
