Speaking of curses, I'm doing my part to help extend the Cubbies curse love over to the White Sox because you know how much I want to see them win! :D Maybe not today. Maybe not tommorrow. But the White Sox will be cursed oh yes they will! :)

Mets can get frustrating quickly... whenever they get half a game or 1 game from first place they lose 2-3 in a row. I think it has to do with Joe posting the back pages of the NY newspapers in this thread which is clearly bad luck. Tell him to quit that shit.

ESPN reports that the Nationals have traded Tomo Ohka to the Brewers for Junior Spivey! Woo! Much needed 2B relief and Ohka is an asshole.

He's going to be traded before the deadline again, anyway. As soon as Day is off the DL and Vidro is playing, Spivey and Day will be shipped for postseason parts.

They might not, but they'll probably contend until at least the trade deadline, and if that's the case they'll make some more moves.

They have the best home record in the majors. Of the Nats' 60 games this season, a stunning 47 have been against teams that currently are over .500, so go on underestimating them. They'll make you look stupid.
