Obama is definitely unsteady, but he's performing in a way that will keep the game the same or just a slight move in Romney's direction, which is expected for the "standing next to the president" poll boost.

Romney is performing adequately, certainly, he hasn't stumbled and he's countering in ways that seem convincing if you buy into his point of view. And so he won't lose ground, he'll gain a little.

That seems to be the trajectory so far.
