I loathe these personal stories so goddamn much. "Met a young electrician on the campaign trail named Bob, has 27 kids, makes 2,000$ per year, listen... he's hurting. And I'm going to help him. =)"

Shut the fuck up, stop.

Evil green energy *eyeroll*

This shit may play well with his corporate buddies, but doesn't ring with the common folk.

I don't know guys, it might just be me, but I'm seeing Mitt on a mission here to convince us that he is going to change things for the better. He just seems more passionate. It could just be me though like I said.

Please someone explain how limiting tax deductions is not raising taxes. Doesn't that mean I can't deduce more things on my return and hence, owe more taxes in the end?

From what I've seen in the debate, Romney's position is:

- The rich's taxes will stay the same
- Middle class tax rates will be reduced
- Some tax deductions will be eliminated (no specifics).
- Will implement growth policies (examples include opening up energy exploration - think he had a few more, just can't remember).
- The growth policies will generate 5 trill of extra revenue

So you have to probably dig deeper to see what method they used to calculate this based on his growth/business policy.
