I can't be the only person in the world that thinks ENB makes Skyrim look like shit. Never seen a screenshot of an injector that I've liked.

Also people who import anime characters, and completely silly things into Fallout etc are weird.

It just depends on the ENB. My shots from a few posts above were taken with SuperENB-RL and I don't think that they look that overdone or different from default skyrim. I agree though that a lot of them do look crappy and add to much contrast/bloom etc.

I think the same about most of the color/lighting mods I see in this thread but I don't want to derail anything by posting about it.

If you are pointing to me about the Fallout anime looking character (previous page), well I'll let you know that I actually used a default face, and the hair is a ponytail and clothing is a suit from the game...

I wasn't, the hairs a bit neat for the wasteland for my liking though. People have posted in this thread before with some ridiculous looking characters. But then it's their own business how they mod their games and it's awesome that we are able to do so. I just don't understand them and I hate what I don't understand.

OK, bit of a dump here, but damn there's so much good stuff at the end of the game. Retro am gods/thank you based Retro/etc

(also, lol spoilers ahead)

METROID PRIME: THE END (1/6)

I like those Splinter Cell shots! Now i need to play it.

You should! Conviction is my favorite game of the series. It dropped all mechanics that revolve around annoying trial and error, and transformed it into essentially the best "24" game possible.

Stealth is still absolutely a must, but it's a very active and fast-paced stealth. You need to appropriately use every utility and weapon at your disposal in creative ways to take down enemies as stealthily as possible.

While you're fairly powerful, you're also extremely vulnerable. You'll die almost instantly if you're not careful.

Random question guys. If I were to enable SSAA instead of SGSSAA, would I still need to able the appropriate LOD bias level? For instance, 4xSSAA + 4xSSAA with -1.000 LOD bias.

Any help would be much appreciated.

LOD-bias is as of the newer versions of nvidia drivers handled automatically by the drivers itself and won't need a manual toggle. Default/unchanged = auto lod in inspector.

And no, SSAA won't need lod adjustment to battle texture blurriness.

SGSSAA and high quality ambient occlusion are both activated through Nvidia Inspector.

You can download my SweetFX settings here.

Thanks a bunch Zyrusticae, heres my result, looks amazing to me.

My PC can't really handle SGSSAA, get 20 fps with 4SGSSAA and with 2SGSSAA I get 25FPS. I'm guessing the SweetFX takes a hit on the fps?

Any advice on any other AA setting to use instead? I have a GTX 580/Intel Core i5-3570K.

In fact, downsampling or OGSSAA can increase sharpness and help offset some of the blur caused by FXAA or other Post-processing AA solutions.

Yeah, sometimes I just love using low-cost ( and otherwise blurry ) FXAA with heavy downsampling.

I have a GTX 580/Intel Core i5-3570K.

You should be getting much better. Sweetfx does have a tangible performance hit but not THAT much (?) I'm sure. Try regular downsampling.

Hm..It could be the high quality ambient occlusion that are both activated through Nvidia Inspector that might be hogging my FPS down.

Zyrusticae what kind of performance do you get with your PC?

My FPS varies greatly depending on the location, sometimes going as low as 20. I should mention I have two GTX 670s so I have a lot more power to play with.

If the frame rate hit is too high, reduce the ambient occlusion from "High Quality" to "Quality". "High Quality" is more of a novelty setting and was never intended to be playable except on high-end systems using SLI. By the way, if you intend to downsample, NEVER downsample with HQAO, there's literally no system on the planet that can produce a smooth frame rate with that setting at any resolution higher than 1920x1080.

My custom SweetFX + ENB (from midhrastic)

I know some of you hate ENB but after learning how to use it, half of the things I hated from it can be disabled pretty much (I'm quite a fan of DOF tho ;) ). I do think that it can make Fallout 3 look PRETTY good after all considering how it looks on default. You don't want me to do a on/off injectors.

I can't do either. I would love to of course, but my Dell u2711 doesn't go higher than it's default res. I used to do OGSSAA a while ago, not on this screen though I don't think. A fellow on here, I think his name does similar to decyx? Well he had a guide for doing it, but it had to be done every time a new driver was out and required a few programs. Eventually I got bored of trying it. I might try though again, and see if this screen was indeed the one I was able to get OGSSAA working on.

Time for more Skyrim! I hadn't touched it since I upgraded to two GTX 670s, so I thought it was about time I got right back into the thick of it. I wiped my installation clean and updated my mod list (Nexus Mod Manager is soooo useful for this) and started messing about with my ENB settings, plus SweetFX for a little bit of extra color tweaking.

Goddamn, I am consistently amazed at just how good this game can look at times...

Downsampled from 3200x1800.
