Thanks guys! I played through both PS3 and 360 versions as well, it's indeed a different world. Playing through it (again...) atm, downsampled from 1620p and with SMAA injector. I kept getting back to Vanilla after trying various ENBs, the original art direction is still my favorite. Also locked it at 30fps to avoid the usual framerate fluctuations. One of the few PC games I can forgive this.

What do you do to lock a game down to 30 FPS? I've wanted to do it before but I only know of vsync that locks up to 60

Damn, will need to pick up Chivalry in the next sale, seeing way too many interesting shots of the game in this thread.

I use Vsync Half Refresh in the Nvidia control panel. Works pretty well. If you are on AMD I think using dxtory is your only option. But it's not very good. But AMD GPUs are not very good for this game anyway.

Does this cure that crazy light / shadow flickering?! If this is the case, my 80ish hours on PC weep! I never thought of capping it down :/

I don't have any problems with shadow/light flickering, but I still get z-fighting with some textures. AFAIK there is no solution for this. :(

I really liked Papo & Yo on the PS3, and it was very pretty. I'll probably double dip at a good price just to see how pretty it is on the PC. Lovely shots.

It is on sale on Steam right now. I've definitely gotten the $25 that I paid for it when it first came out. 140+ hrs and still fun to jump in for a game or two to bleed off some stress. The game does have bugs but the positives far out way the negatives IMO.
...

It can certainly be cringingly brutal at times.

Booom! Headshot!

Budget. This is a console rental/Steam sale game, even though it already retails for $40.
Steam sale it is then.

Chivalry is one of the coolest games around to screenshot, but it would be made infinitely better by allowing PlayersOnly instead of Pause. You truly need the ability to move the camera around while Paused to properly frame the perfect action shots that the game is so good at serving up for you.

The "Censorship Bar" texture clips through his pants at almost all times. It almost seems intentional. But it's not. But in this game it really could be, but it's probably not.
