That's actually the direction I'm going (Sanu). I don't think I can fall for a Sankey "break out game" again. I'm going to have to see it before I commit. If he ever does then I can feel good going forward (my RB2 is Oliver but that's obviously probably a short-term solution).

*thumbs WAY up*

Holy shit. I hope you played him. Career day.

Edit: nvm saw your post

We made good choices in fantasy. The ultimate victory!
I seriously sat there hovering over Sankey's name then walked away so I wouldn't do it. I think Sanu has another week or two as the #1, so I'll ride him out until then.

Kinda pulled a miracle, guy I was facing had Randle, Cruz, Beckham, and Andrew Williams. Basically if any of them scored I was done, but I still got the lead.

Why the fuck would someone have all giants wideouts? It doesn't make sense. Was this a bye week thing? I feel iffy about starting 2 receivers on the same team but 3 is ridiculous.

He's a Giants fan and makes a lot of decisions based on that. He gave me Moreno and VJax for Cruz, you can imagine how happy I am now about making that trade.

This is gonna be the third week I lose because of defense. I played Panthers defense twice -8 and - 7 both weeks. This week I'm down 107-109 with gore left for Monday night and all my opponent had was the Eagles defense vs the Giants..... We all saw how that turned out. Now I'm down 19 with Gore left. Fuck it all😭

Actually with how bad the Eagles D/secondary is it wasn't a bad play. Randle was poised for a big game, and Beckham Jr. had an impact in semi-limited snaps. Giants just never got on track yesterday.

The Eagles secondary might suck but playing 3 receivers from the same team is not a good strategy. Giants are a team with more TE touchdowns than WRs. The only positive is that he got Odell before the Cruz injury. This dude must have some terrible recievers to start with or was really in a pinch.

Is this guy new to fantasy football? I used to do shit like that when I signed up for my first free leagues

Looks like that Gore + Brandon Cooks for McCoy trade might pan out for me in a big way. To bad my other starter is Lacy. I also have Andre Williams, Chris Ivory and Knowshon Moreno on my bench. Hopefully Moreno can get it going again, because Lacy is a huge bust thus far.

One of my leagues I had Luck starting and Flacco on the bench. I wish I was play a 2 QB league

I left Flacco on my bench, cause I have PeyPey. A solid week from Pey, but damn, why did Flacco decide to go off.

Trailing by about 7 points, but my opponent doesn't have any more players this week, and I still have San Fran's defense and kicker to go. Basically, as long as San Fran doesn't lose 30-0 to the Rams, I'm hopefully good.

For a season, yeah. For one week vs. a bad secondary and a hot offense? Eh. I've seen teams clean up for a week with Nelson/Cobb/James Jones last year. Depends on if the team runs a 3 WR set as their base and a weak TE, like Green Bay and the Giants kinda do.

Had VJAX and Cobb, no longer has either. He traded away Jamaal Charles for Randall Cobb then traded Cobb for Beckham.

He's not usually in our league, I think I said this before but a few guys couldn't make the draft so we ended up looking for more people to join.

I wish I had someone that dumb in my league. No one will trade anything, and we have OJ trying to be a shark lol.

I just want fair value for a top 5 QB in the league in Rivers.

Welker, we could talk about now. But there's not a lot that I need in return.

I'd love a good RB1/2, or a good WR1/2, but no one wants to move those, even if I threw in Bell or Johnson. Guess I'll just have to wing it to a 7-6 record, and hope my team is hot in the playoffs.

I wouldn't invite this person back next year. They are ruining the competitiveness of your league.

Thoughts on me offering Lamar Miller and Brian Quick for Julio Jones?

My RB: McCoy, Gio Bernard, Andre Ellington, Lamar Miller, Fred Jackson, J. Bell, and Jeremy Hill
My WR: Jordy Nelson, Brian Quick, Michael Floyd, and Torrey Smith

We start 2rb, 2wr, and a flex.

I'd do it if he's willing to do that trade.

Oh I wasn't talking about that trade, I just know how are in here lol.

If you can do it, that'd be a pretty dumb trade partner, or their team must consist of players like Gerhart, Lacy, and Patterson.

So slamdunk for you if you can pull that off. Jones is a monster.

I'm done with drafting RBs in the first 2 rounds.

This has been me for a couple year . I'd much rather have a couple really solid receivers and load up on RBs in the later rounds. I got Bradshaw in every league I'm in round 8 or later and he's outscored all the early round guys for the most part.

Damn I lost to the same guy in two different leagues this week. Fortunately, I won my third league, but that one is my lowest buy-in.

I'm having an inner debate on whether or not I want more depth for my team in my 14 team league. Our free agency is beyond empty too :(

I'd basically have to trade Bell or Charles for two decent players if I want to go in that direction. I'm 3-3 right now. I just came off a 3 game win streak too. At first I was thinking if it ain't broke don't fix it, but it was a tough week with Charles on a bye. The same thing will probably happen when the Steelers have their bye week. Then again, 8 out of 10 players on my team underperformed, so maybe it could just have been an off week.

in one league the only player i have on bye is a TE. ertz. who should i pick up to replace him?

  • clay harbor and jermaine gresham are looking good. if aj green plays then gresham is not a good idea.
  • honestly i might try to trade green for a couple WRs.
  • could also pick up andre holmes to help replace aj green. and i'm thinking about isaiah crowell, but i have bell spiller and bernard assuming bernard plays. crowell would most likely replace bell or spiller. spiller hasn't done much since week 2, and bell has done even less except for week 6.
  • do you guys think eric decker will get another TD? if so i'm keeping him as my wr3.
  • and finally, kirk cousins or russell wilson? once again it should be wilson no brainer, but kirk cousins has only had 1 stinker despite his team sucking.

now for my other league.

WR options: crabtree, terrance williams, dthomas, aj green, wes welker. pick 3. the first 3 are my current starters. aj green to replace williams if he's in? welker i should probably try and trade. should i pick up someone to replace williams? he's gotten 70 yards last couple of weeks but between him and crabtree i don't really like my current WRs.

RB options: arian foster, fred jackson, alfred morris, lamar miller, knile davis. foster and jackson are Rbs, morris is my flex. probably leave as is.

TE: delanie walker or travis kelce?

god i wish my other league was this dumb.

Finally embracing the Zero RB draft strategy my friend.

I can give you the pieces you want for Russell Wilson. You want WRs and/or TEs? I've got a deep WR pool and two Top 10 TEs in Walker and Reed ROS.

i knew u would be the frst reply :P i'll think about it. got some more research to do. i really like that wilson already had his bye week. i would not look forward to picking up another qb in week 10.

So my season is toast. Between Charles getting hurt early and the Panthers D going to shit, I lost some close games early and now the hole is probably too deep to climb out of to make the playoffs.

Here is my question. I'm getting trade requests for Charles, Julio and Alshon Jeffery. Some are legit, others are shitty like "your season is done anyway, give me your good players" type thing. Would it be best to just shut down all trading with my team, even if the trades are good? The whole thing feels dirty, I don't want to fuck with the balance of the other teams

There is no reward for tanking. You play it out and try to win as many games as possible since there is so much luck involved and an injury/bad management can change a fantasy season. I started out 0-3 with injuries ravaging my team, I'm now 3-3 and back in the playoff hunt. Don't be that guy who shuts it down, that might not get you an invite back next year.

At the same time, don't make horrible trades. They think you're desperate:

THEY GONNA PAY WHAT THEY OWE

Trade question. I'm being offered Calvin Johnson in exchange for LeSean McCoy and Torrey Smith.

My RB/WR roster is currently:

McCoy, Ellington, Ahmad Bradshaw, Joique Bell

Alshon Jeffery, Steve Smith, Torrey Smith, Patterson, Harry Douglas, and Gabriel from the Browns

It's a 2 RB, 2 WR, 2 Flex 14 person league.

I'd take it. It's not every you get an opportunity to get Calvin.

I'd do it. You have the RB depth and your WRs would be great.

Someone asked this before, and I second it, what are the chances Decker scores again? WR situation is rough, I'm finally breaking down and sitting my regulars. Am I making the right moves here with:

WR:Sanu
WR: Terrance Williams
WR/TE: Jordan Cameron
TE: Delanie Walker
FLEX: Claim put in for Isaiah Crowell
FLEX: Claim put in for Malcom Floyd
On my bench: Keenan Allen, Brian Quick, Eric Decker WR wise

I'm interested in thoughts on Decker too. He's produced in tough match ups even on that defunct offense. Mainly due to the high number of targets and being a big red zone threat.

ROS are you interested in Decker consistently preforming as a WR3 or would you rather have a boom or bust WR like Torrey Smith of Jordan Matthews.

You have the depth to pull this off and wait for a healthy Calvin. Were you ever confident in starting Torrey Smith? If not then you pretty much get a mulligan on your first round bust.

I've never even played Torrey yet :)

I was leaning toward taking the trade, my only hesitation is feeling like LeSean is now back to where he should be and who knows how long til Calvin is 100%.

Fellas, I have Lamar Miller and I'm wondering who to pick up as his handcuff / Moreno's replacement. Is it Damien Williams or Daniel Thomas? I'm thinking Williams?

Real talk, Torrey Smith's value will increase going forward. He won't give you 2 TDs every week, but he's not going to be Mr. Invisible either. Steve Smith Jr. will start regressing at some point as an older WR, and Torrey and Flacco will connect. Keep in mind because of the lack of depth in their WR/TE core, the offense can sustain both guys.

a) Unless McCoy's line gets better, he's going to be erratic.
b) Johnson may be held thru the Week 9 Bye.

Another potential dynasty trade I have been offered. Feelings on this potential trade:

I give:

Julius Thomas and Ryan Mathews

FOR

Lamar Miller and Jordan Cameron

Right now, Miller would replace Bradshaw in my flex spot. I hate to lose Thomas, but in reality, once Manning retires, Thomas isn't the same guy. I guess the question is, how good of a dynasty player will Miller be? I don't care about Mathews.

EDIT....I refused it...Trying to ask for Lacy instead of Miller.
