14/16 today, not bad. Just missed Dayton over OSU and Harvard over Cincy.

Louisville almost blew up my bracket against Manhattan. Game was way too close.

Looks like the only lower seed I have winning tomorrow outside of 8-9 games is 11 Providence over 6 North Carolina.

edit: and 11 Tennessee over 6 UMass.

I'm still shocked I managed to get the ND State upset. I usually miss all those.

edit: actually, Dayton was an 11 seed I think. Still impressive, though.

I got 2 of my 5 upsets right. Should have gotten all of them right if not for refs (NMSU), one of the worst chokes in tournament history (N.C. State) and the other team having such shitty shooters that their air balls were good passes (Arizona State). Didn't pick Dayton or Pittsburgh though.

12/16 isn't terrible I suppose but I'm pretty far down in my pool. All S16 teams still in it though!

Feels bad man. Can't really blame anyone but the players themselves, which I generally don't like doing because unlike the coach, they aren't being paid millions of dollars. That was some historically bad FT shooting though, they should be embarrassed.

Your team will never accomplish anything but disappointment with your current head coach. He was a lame duck in the SEC and that's what he will be at NC State. Lots of hype, rankings, but ultimately no real success.

I'll never understand why schools seek out coaches who were abject failures at their last job.

I need Tennessee and Nebraska to pull out upsets today. Still 14/16 at work (12/16 here).

Also trying to remember the later rounds are weighted so much the trick is to survive for now.

If you had the entire Sweet 16 right but missed on every other matchup leading up to it you'd still have a good chance. The first rounds barely matter otherwise.

Ummm, we had no hype or rankings this year. We lost 80% of our scoring from last year and were picked to finish 10th in the ACC while maybe making the NIT. Gott coached his ass off this year, and I'd still call it a very successful season, even with last night's debacle. NC State hasn't had "real success" for nearly 3 decades, so it's a bit unfair to pin that on the guy who took us from the ACC cellar to 3 consecutive NCAA tourney berths.

If that's what you're satisfied with then more power to you. Frankly, I don't care. It wasn't meant as an insult to your program. However, I suspect that this year will be very similar to your next several. How many times will you be happy with getting hyped only to ultimately be disappointed at the end of the season? Your coach has a nasty habit of doing more with less and less with more. It never results in ultimate success.

If this year is as good as it gets, are you content? I'm simply speaking as a Kentucky fan who watched him coach in the SEC for years.

And here we go. Day two of the best day of the year.

Ryan Kelly had a similar start. Known in HS for being an amazing shooter, sucked his freshman year at Duke.

I'm getting a technical error on both of them in Firefox (even after I clear the cache), but they're working fine in Chrome.

Really weird too, because I was watching it just fine in FF yesterday.

I got grudge sucked!
This team is garbage. Even despite the embarrassment of losing to Mercer, it would at least be a blessing to not have to watch this bullshit anymore.

I'm not even looking forward to next season, I'm more hyped for football, and thats something I never thought I'd say in regards to Duke.

Is it even possible to get every 5/12 matchup wrong? I am having terrible luck this year, with Dayton, then not picking Harvard to upset, then NC State's epic choke.

If Duke pulls a LeHigh this year, I'm done.
