I hate you, Curry.

Congrats on your victory.

I picked the Warriors and I had this post months ago. Im feeling pretty good.

GO WARRIORS!!
Aye, the Warriors were the best team entering the playoffs, even though some had hope that Brooklyn or Phoenix would contend for the title. lol
The Warriors this year remind me of the 2014 Spurs. With their depth, they're head and shoulders above any other opponent.

Good luck, Boston. You're gonna need it.

Boston almost had an all-time collapse not scoring for the final few minutes of game 7.

Feeling Warriors in 6 but my dream would be in 5 on home court.

Happy my Cs finally stumbled upwards to the finals, but man spending any time on the Celtics subreddit leaves me to assume I am one of the only people there capable of free think. Warriors should roll us, the fanbase Seems to forget just how dominant a healthy warriors team can be. They were broken pre KD and this team might just be better then those teams.

Thinking we can shit down more then 1 or 2 of their shooters a game is absurd. I view this the way it was when the Thunder made the finals, stage is gonna completely shrink Tatum, and I don’t have the faith the roll players can do much. Steve Kerr is a phenomenal coach, and we struggle with great coached teams. I’d love to see a win, but our road here was paved with all sorts of help and we continually almost gave it away.

Disfunctional Nets, no Middleton Bucks, and a heat team being carried by one dude.

Well, brown/tatum/smart can all switch on defense and stay in front of their guy.
Plus, two of those guys are really good shooting off the dribble. Unless you have a jimmy butler and pj tucker, that's usually an unfavorable matchup for most teams. They have the proper skills to annoy the warriors, even if golden state is naturally favorite.

I think middleton injury is the defining moment of the season. Giannis is a nightmare to everyone but they lost their shooter, which made collapsing all over giannis an even easier choice to defend the bucks.

One thing is that the Warriors havent seem to have gotten all their scorers going at the same time. This may be impossible TBH. But its Steph and Poole, or Steph and Klay, or Klay and Poole or one of those three + Wiggins or something like that.

Also they turn the ball over A LOT. Watching their games can be rough on my heart.

On paper they are the favorites though. Celtics do have a chance but they have to play amazing defense, force a lot of turnovers and shoot far above average.

Kind of how most expected the series to go. Warriors hot and scoring a lot. Celtics defense eventually catching up...

Long layoff almost always strikes first. Didn't see the game, box score was very interesting, as I'm more used to the C's being almost barely passable from 3 and seemed to shoot the lights out in game 1. Alot...like ALOT went right for them to make the comeback, and Tatum had the usual bad tatum game except at least he facilitated. I'm not sure what's more likely to happen, the C's not just exchanging Als stats back to Tatum, or Klay and Poole, and Draymond all shooting like shit again in game 2. Should be fun either way.

The Celts going nuts on 3's was an outlier. They probably hit 75% of the 3's they took in Q4. I was streaming it and wasnt watching it super closely, but there was a time they might had hit 5 in a row.

One thing that helped them too is GS defence barely defended them well. Many of the 3's were shot where GS defenders let them shoot. Theyll likely play them more aggressive in game 2.

Yuck, tonight’s game was an embarrassment. Thanks to homecooking refs. I stopped watching after 1st quarter.

Here's an interesting video posted two months ago. It could end up being prophetic..

The Warriors managed to win handily last night with zero disparity in three point shooting between both teams which seems like a rarity in todays NBA. Can't just chalk it up to "their shooters just got hot tonight" so it is looking good for the Dubs. If Klay doesn't shoot like complete shit I think the Warriors could grab both games in Boston considering they have an oddly poor home record these playoffs at 5-4.

Warriors still havent had a game when everyone is cooking, kind of like the Celtics had in game 1. If Klay, Curry Poole, Wiggins all go off it would be nice for once or at least 3/4.

Yeah, I wouldn't count on Klay ever going off in this series. The Boston defense is too smothering. But , his mere presence on the floor will be able to create opportunities for other players. That's when I fully expect GSW to cash out.

Nah, Klay will have at least one 25+ game.

The Celtics are on a whole different synergy. They bring that defensive energy to a T and are not afraid to get dirty in the paint. JB being an assassin and Timelord out here blocking shit left to right🔥🔥🔥.

I do expect Steph, Klay, or Poole to have a 35 Point Performance that will reel the Warriors to a win but right now it look like Celtics in 6. Draymond was pitiful this game damn.

Overall, this has been one helluva of an NBA season. Lot of upsets, momentums, shockers, and rises happening.

Most WWF like playoffs I can remember. Celtics faced red light, green light officiating since the Bucks series.

b-but what if he fails to get a Finals MVP trophy?
Doesn’t matter , even with GSW losing this final . Not sure if I miss out anyone but I don't think there is any shorter players with this much impact , longevity and consistency . Not to mention he's already 34 years/old , against the league's top defense and lengthy defenders in Celtics , while carrying Draymond's bum . Simply transcendental .

Do the Celtics even want to win the title?
Just handing the ball over with countless unforced turnovers - every single game - its crazy.
Missing tons of free throws - every single point matters in the finals.
Complaining and whining at every single call - this is not the place for that.

Tatum is playing so soft. He's missed at least 15 layups at the rim in this series. Someone like Giannis would never do that - its a matter of will.
Al Horford should be posting up these tiny dudes in spots in the 4th quarter to get points elsewhere.

I have no team I route for - just a fan of the NBA.
Its just so frustrating to watch because the Celtics should win this series.
You could tell they are young and just letting it slip away.

probably just a cameraman having a camera follow him probably helped him fool people (some prolly were drinking/tipsy) into thinking its actually him and they think hes filming for tv or something
