If that's your bracket I see you like New Mexico as well as I do. But that's not looking like a solid pick at the moment :-( They still have another half to go but I wasn't expecting Stanford to put up such a fight.
I don't know. They only update the standings once a day. His was the only one still perfect of the "top 25" brackets. But there were certainly more than 25 perfect brackets after yesterday, but they don't show them.

Nah, it's not mine. I wish it was! I'm 12 of 17 so far. Duke was my first Elite 8 team to fall.

So many of those I clicked on have Duke to E8 or F4. Only 1 out of the 10 or so I clicked on had Duke winning just 1 game.

I just need to come to terms with that I really hate college basketball now, pretty much after VCU in 2007. It never makes me happy. Even when Duke wins like in 2010, I just feel relief, not happiness. When the football team lost to A&M, I was bummed for about 15 minutes, and it didn't sour the season they had at all. This flushes anything the basketball team accomplished down the toilet, not that they did much this year. They didn't even have that run of invincibility in the early months, they just consistently sucked.

This has been an amazing tournament. OT games everywhere, Mercer beats Duke. They are making up for snoozefest tourneys going back for years now.

I think Chris Collins will get it if he turns around Northwestern.
They're definitely going to take a big step down though once Coach K retires. They don't have the advantages that the other traditional basketball powers have.

If Duke hadn't won the title in 2010, would the narrative coming out of today be that coach K is on the downside of his career and close to hanging it up? Gotta wonder if he doesn't make a Final Four with Okafor and Jones next year, what the reaction will be. Of course, Okafor and Jones could be highly overrated coming out of HS and take some time to adjust to college, like the UK class this year.

The man is 67. If he makes it to another championship game in the next three years, he retires after that.
