If he qualifies I hope Tituss Burgess gets a supporting nod for Kimmy Schmidt.

Emilia Clarke for best supporting actress? What is this nonsense. Heady I can understand but Clarke is awful.
Dinklage better win supporting actor this year. Category is not full.
He did.
Game of Thrones really should not be a nominee, thats a spot that should have went to Hannibal or Justified. Also best comedy continues to be irrelevant by ignoring Sunny. Its a top 5 of all time comedy and they did some of their best work this season. Shameful.
Game of Thrones deserves that spot over the painfully mediocre Homeland.Game of Thrones really should not be a nominee, thats a spot that should have went to Hannibal or Justified. I agree that Peele is the better actor, but that's hilarious to put Key in that categoryThis is interesting:
Keegan-Michael Key is nominated for best supporting actor in a comedy for Key & Peele.
So can Doctor Who not be nominated for and Emmy being a British show on BBC? I seem to remember something about that last year. Sherlock got nominated because it also appears on PBS.
Dinklage wasn't that great this season and Mendelsohn was the only good thing about Bloodlines.
IMO the most interesting storyline this season of GoT was Dinklage. He was the story.
I think Dinklage absolutely should have won last year, but yeah if I had a vote, I'd go Mendelsohn this year.Dinklage wasn't that great this season and Mendelsohn was the only good thing about Bloodlines.
I really want Key & Peele to win Best Variety,
Flash deserves that spot for visuals for the visual stuff they did with the gorilla alone. Daredevil should get a nod for best supporting actor as well with Vincent D'Onofrio.Flash got a nom for Visuals, Daredevil and Gotham for Sound, Walking Dead for Stunts and funny enough 24 got a nom for Music XD
Yes, this is award nonsense. There will be snubs; there will be undeserving nominees. Still, it's nice to see good work get rewarded occasionally.
These are being announced right now. Live streams are available on Deadline and EW.
I'll update the OP once the lists are ready. Full list here.

Wait, hold up.
Key & Peele is nominated for best VARIETY SERIES, but not comedy
But Keegan Key is nominated for best supporting actor in a COMEDY SERIES - for Key & Peele.
This is almost weirder than the idea that Key, whose name comes first in the title of his comedy show, is nominated for supporting actor.
Didn't Brooklyn 99 win best comedy last year? And now it's not even nominated, was last season not very good? I fell behind and never caught up
Nominated for a total of ZERO Emmys for portraying Ron Swanson:
Game of Thrones is better than all the nominees this year though. None of the other shows were anywhere near as good. At least last year had Breaking Bad and True Detective.
