Both those games are pretty much guaranteed 2015, Until Dawn will probably be out by late summer at the latest.

Hype/interest in that game seems to be dead since Bloodbourne made its debut and since the news about it being F2P broke...

That's a shame. Both the gameplay and graphics has improved after every showing of the game. If people are dismissing it because it's a F2P game, they should at least wait until we hear about the F2P model.

Type-0 has been reportedly translated for ages hasn't it? And XIV is an MMO so I can see that having a different approach. Sure, I HOPE XV has a simultaneous launch but I certainly ain't holding my breath.

Also this is just an asspull but they might not want to release it too close to Tomb Raider in the west if the game was actually coming out in 2015.

Well, translation is only a part of the localization process and we don't really know how much of it they've translated. And if it was only to English, they might still need to localize the game to at least a few other languages. Plus we've had some leaks of people accidentally revealing their VA work on FFXV. Now, whether those were really errors like the damage control tried to make them seem like or not, we can't know, but Square Enix has talked about changing the way they handle at least their biggest games' localizations, so they'll work on all of it concurrently instead of first finishing the Japanese version and only then starting to focus on the English version.

And Square Enix isn't really afraid of releasing games close to each other. FFXIV ARR was released in early Fall, then they pushed out Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD ReMix, FFX | X-2 HD, Bravely Defaul & Lightning Returns within a few months of that. Next year they are releasing Dragon Quest Heroes in late February and Type-0 HD in mid-March. They might just want to get FFXV out after all these years so that they can start focusing on other things, even if it comes close to Tomb Raider 2 (and I'd think Tomb Raider 2 has a bigger chance of being delayed than FFXV now that they've gotten to the point that they are just cranking out content as fast as humanly possible)

I'm not going to be able to resist buying a WiiU looking at that line up.

The 2015 line-up is basically the reason I'm getting a new TV for my room and moving my Wii-U from the living room, up into my room.
That, and it's why I've delayed getting a PS4. Once Persona 5 has a UK release date, I'll be finalising all my preparations.

...and hype diminished, if people are doubting it will reach America in 2015 it will probably be delayed until 2016 over here.

You should be able to jump straight in, there may be cameos from previous games but nothing major.

I know delays are common but most of the games are coming out first half or are far enough along that they will probably make 2015. That is a TON of games coming out and theres probably more I forgot or will make it into 2015. I would say almost half of those games are GOTY contenders too. Anyone else pumped as all yell for 2015?

Persona 4 was announced in 2008, released in Japan in 2008 and released in North America in 2008.

No, that's the North American website for Persona 5 stating that it's releasing in 2015.

Sure, but given how much Persona's popularity has grown in recent years, I don't expect it to lag behind the Japanese release in a major way. It should be a major priority for Atlus US to get that translated as soon as possible.

Sure, but given how much Persona's popularity has grown in recent years, I don't expect it to lag behind the Japanese release in a major way. It should be a major priority for Atlus US to get that translated as soon as possible.

Given what we've seen, I don't expect a Japanese release until near the end of next year, and I have no confidence in the localization taking less than 3 months minimum. Honestly wouldn't even be surprised if it got another delay in Japan and didn't even come out there until early next year
