IF there are no delays (huge if...not going to happen) that would probably end up being the best year in the history of gaming.
 
Batman alone makes the year one for the history books, everything else is just icing on the cake. :P

Also, a lot of people are talking about delays, when at least a handful of these are in 2015 BECAUSE delays.
 
Pretty sure Below is a timed exclusive for Xbox One... though I'm not sure if that means it WILL be released on other platforms or simply that it CAN be.

2015 will be the second year of maturity for Wii U and probably the first for PS4/XBO/multiplats, with the end of (bad) cross-gen games and the release of new generation of games. It could have began at the end of 2014 but delays and some mediocre games killed the true next-gen begignning.
It's a shame there are so much sequels though.

I count up approximately 18-20 I'm interested in on PS4 and Wii U...Twice what I'll bought in 2014.

I'm the complete opposite, other than uncharted literally nothing on the ps4 side interests me but that's cool. Glad people are pumped and plan on enjoying whatever ecosystems they love. I used to be a playstation guy back in ps2 days... Then was a poor college student and actually won an Xbox in a contest. Anyway, pumped for stuff coming out this year and what's on the docket... Love games!

So got back to my computer and checked, and the persona 5 english website giving a 2015 release date doesn't even have the TGS teaser, meaning it likely hasn't been updated since the initial reveal. That means the NA 2015 release date was probably made with the basis of a winter 2014 Japanese release date that was given at the same time. Since it's been delayed in Japan, I definitely see no reason to assume that the NA release frame is still valid
 
Sonuvabitch, I completely forgot Quantum Break was coming out next year.

Hrm...still not enough to sway me from my PS4 decision next year...but damn if I don't a One now if only to support Remedy and see Alan Wake 2.

Hopefully the game will come late enough in the year I can still buy it new.

And there's also no reason to believe that the Japanese release date will be Q4 2015 or that the NA release date will be 2016. Hence, based on Atlus release precedent and localization precedent, it's more reasonable to assume that the 2015 release date will be consistent and not believe that it'll somehow get pushed back or delayed even further for some reason. This is all ignoring the fact that "winter 2014" could have meant 2015 in the first place, which they had done with Catherine (scheduled for "Winter 2010", released in 2011).

LOL, do you honestly believe Persona 5 is going to be released Q1 2015? When we've still seen literally no game footage whatsoever? I believe it'll be released late because if it was releasing sooner I feel like we'd have more than a vague teaser at this point.

This is the second time you're misinterpreting what I'm saying when it's quite clear; stop making assumptions, and stop trying to target one specific part of my post out of context, while ignoring the rest that isn't convenient for you. Why even suggest that it might still be on track for the winter 2014 release date if you don't believe there's any chance of it? That's entirely pointless. I'd love to be wrong, but we know even less about the game than we do Zelda, and yet everyone seems to think that will be delayed (even despite Nintendo's situation), and few seem to think Persona 5 will be. The only evidence we have that it'll come in 2015 is outdated, and the fact that they never updated the site with the TGS trailer is also somewhat damning, because if it was still coming at the same pace for NA, you'd expect them to share the new information at roughly the same time like they did before

Zelda won't be delayed because Nintendo has nothing else to fill the holiday 2015 void it would leave. It's more likely that they'd release a rush job, or funnel personnel from other games to ensure it releases on time than that they'd go without it. Unless you think Nintendo has another title they'd be willing to bet their holiday sales on.

No, it's not, because from what you've said, apparently Persona 5's delay means a whole year since winter 2014. Specifying that winter 2014 could have meant 2015 means that the release window was always closer to 2015 than not, and could have included it.

That's 3 months. It hasn't been 3 months since September 1st.
