Exactly my thought. Just seems like a different game with Halo specifics slapped on.

I mean, hopefully at least 343 can just do like a good game that's something they WANT to make. Cuz they sure as hell don't want to make a Halo game.

The particle effects look awesome, but not a fan of the "fake playthrough" where the aiming is completely smooth.

I haven't played many next gen games, but agreed. Particle effects look great.
