What if it can visually identify the edge of the table? The contrast should be significant so it's not improbable.

It's not just that it's on a coffee table, the coolness comes from the actual 3D model that's rendered.

But why can't I just view that on my TV screen or VR headset, with the exact same 3D model? Just seems like added interference for no reason besides novelty. Why add the real life background in, the extra input lag, the less precise gesture controls etc?
