I could say the same about ESO. The lighting looks so flat and dull. Though I think that also applies to FFXIV.

Yeah ESO is pretty dull. Although, ReShade can do magic to these rather plain looking games when tweaked right. I'm not exactly sure what's going on with Hardline looking so plain... I mean I've watched some singleplayer gameplay videos and they didn't look even close to as dull as in the shots seen here... Gotta say when I tried the Beta, it was very dull looking. I wonder if it's just the multiplayer as most of the shots here are taken of it.

Well, the colour palette is very limited and the tonemapping they've gone with makes things look very plain. Greater local contrast in shadowed areas and less ambient light would make things look much better, but I guess Visceral have prioritised perfect visibility to reduce the overall skill entry barrier and frustration over a more exciting but perhaps less easily readable battlefield (hehe), which'll probably mean people find it easier to play than, say, Battlefield 4's often overly "busy" matches with dust and explosions everywhere, dark indoor areas, etc.

Guys , i need some help with Reshade with Dead space 3 .

The first time i started it it worked fine .

EDIT: Wow!!! Damn compression is absolutely killing my photos, i tried saving JPEG's with FastStone set @100 % quality and 100 % PNG's by using Paeth filter set at compression 1 and i'm getting same crappy results. Is there anything better that somebody can recommend?

It's probably obvious but I think the easiest thing to do would be to re-install Reshade or the file.

I thought ReShade disabled the depth buffer for online games. That's.... interesting. I bought Guild Wars but never played very much of it. No time for MMOs

Dunno about online games in general but in GW2's case the depthbuffer only starts working once you've stopped moving. Also, for me personally MMOs are so much time for so little reward. I have yet to get really engrossed in one. Guild Wars is pretty gorgeous to roam around though.

BTW, ESO hotsamples so you can just resize the window with SRWE to 8K, snap a snot, and resize back down. Won't help you for gameplay, but will make for some nice screenshots

I'm sure ReShade could help punch up the visuals a bit, but I'm not sure I'd like to jump into that game again knowing I'd actually have to play it in order to explore the world. Sometimes that's all I want to do in MMOs since the gameplay is never really that addicting (Tera being the only exception to that, which didn't list very long).

I like the look of this place. Nice and foggy.

Of course mate. The only setting in Mastereffect you wanna turn on is Filmic Pass. I didn't like anything else.

Those kinda areas come available when you get to go to the other, upper right side of the map.

Try using and getting familiar with ReShade + MasterEffect or SweetFX. I use ReShade + MasterEffect.

I agree. At best they can make for nice screenshots but playing the game is awful. Not a fan of the crushed blacks in any situation though. I find that ReShade is best for subtle improvements and adding SMAA support to games that dont have it as it always looks better than FXAA and has none of the alpha aliasing issues of MSAA.

No , that does not solve it .

I discovered that if i edit anything in the FX file ,reshade does not work for me .

When i use the original preset without edit , it works fine .

as if the save proccess , breaks the file or something

Yep, although a lot of us ended up just including Arno in our shots because wall-hugging until you find the exact right spot is a very tedious process.

Sadly there's no way. Ubisoft put in very, very aggressive code integrity scans in order to prevent you from bypassing their microtransactions for in-game currency and TEMPORARY cheats. That's right. They want you to buy temporary cheats.

Hopefully that doesn't become a trend.
