I like how this page so far is only comics, assassin dude, cars, bikini babes, and anime. That's video games for ya :P

@Thorgal: Aren't most if not all of those FFXIII shots all FMV captures?

I'm using the absolute dumbest ReShade/MasterEffect profile imaginable. Rename to ReShade.fx and drop that in your game directory (overwrite the existing) with the rest of the ReShade files.

Just AFx16 for testing. For these I'm using in-game MSAx8 and will probably add SMAA through reshade for next batch. Talk about an fps killer even for top of the line video cards today.

8x MSAA in that game is a waste of FPS. Just go with a higher downsampling res instead. You can get it looking pretty clean.

Wish I still had my original sizes for that game. They all gone.

Also, shame this game doesn't have a photomode.

It has a photo mode if you hunt down the right mods for it :P

Anyone seen these Akham Knight shots? Game looks incredible.

Tell me about it. I was getting 42fps in the performance test post 8xMSAA and then it dropped to 15fps once I switched it on. I'll go with a higher res then because even with the MSAA turned on I still can't seem to get a pristine looking image in some areas. Thanks for the tip. And err..those Batman shots are on another level. Wow.

Great colors! I've been meaning to ask, is DA:I a nice game to just walk around and enjoy the scenery in? I saw some videos and gameplay-wise it's not really my thing, but I'd love to wander around in these environments.

Well to access all the environments you need to play the game and walking around will get you in combat very often so you have to deal with it. Got to admit that this zone in particular looks very great! Also using SweetFX. In this config I boosted blue vibrance while saturating other colors just a bit and made whites "brighter". I'm the kind of guy that usually puts more colors in games than desaturating them.

That's as far as I'll go. The game wasn't very modern even when it was released and right now it plays downright ancient. Still the best of the franchise though.

Your shots are looking crisp Otis.

Hey Nick, I've noticed you're always using reshade. I downloaded it but I don't have any experience with it so if you don't mind id like to pick your brain. What is the best way to install it on a game? I did a quick google search but couldn't really find anything great. Do you copy the files in manually or do you use a configurator? I tried setting up Batman AK on windows 10 and it just kept crashing

Reshade isn't working with AK afaik no matter what version of Windows you're using. The game won't even start if you install reshade. I use Reshade Framework for most of my games because it comes with an easy installer that does everything for you after you select the game - plus it gives you a host of other effects you can add besides the Sweetfx settings. Even if you have to manually install it, it's not too difficult, you pretty much just have to rename the 32 or 64 bit .dll file and stick them all in the same place where the game's .exe folder is located. I'm not too keen on the latest version of Reshade which comes with "Mediator" which I personally find convoluted so I use an older version (18.4 I think).
