Since they will tend to be over 5mb, I doubt various hosting sites will allow them, in fact you may have to convert them to JPG. The ones that do accept over 10mb for pics are the ones that will really show off how the games look but I can imagine bandwidth issues for various people.

There is really no need to be using pngs if you save as jpg with 100% quality in FastStone or similar.
