I want to believe!

Gruden seems to believe that offensive line play is down across the league due to the CBA...which is impacting quarterback play.

Anyone think that the league will push back on the number of practices in the next CBA? Offenses being down hurts the product for sure.

I know people will say lol Florio but just last week he said that he believes in the next contract negotiation that the league will push for more/harder practices since it improves the play on the field and that something they could offer the players in return would be to stop testing for weed.

Players also hate preseason games. More/harder practices and one or two less preseason games could be a thing too. Or maybe 3 preseason games but x-year veterans don't have to play in the last game.

I hope he's right (for once).

Maybe this year the 49ers can finally compete with the seahawks, will be interesting to see what Chip can do, Honestly I'd be ok with a 3 - 13 record this year, and 2 of the wins being against the hawks.

At the end of the year we just Need Trent Baalke fired, and a top 5 draft pick is that so much to ask for ?

Can Boone play LT?

Let me rephrase that, can Boone play LT at least as well as Kalil?

If so, Boone-Berger-(resign Sully)-Fusco-Smith.

Still terrible but maybe not as catastrophic as starting Clemmings on the blind side.

Where's Bryant McKinnie these days?

Phone video [of Texans booing] fuels me

"Yeah, I have it on my phone. I have it on my computer. I have that because I remember how quickly things can turn in this league. You remember how fragile fame and success is. When they drafted me the whole place booed. The whole city kinda wondered who I was. They wanted somebody else… they booed.

"I remember when I got to the airport in Houston and the guy at the airport line when I was going through security saw I was wearing a Texans shirt, and he was like, 'Hey, you a Texans fan?' I said, 'Yeah.' He said, 'I hope that big white guy they drafted is good.' And I kind of looked at him and I couldn’t tell if he was serious or not. He literally had no clue who I was. And I was like, 'Yeah I hope so, too.' And I just went on my way."

I'm hopeful but we'll see. If we just get a good WR in FA that really opens up the draft, because I think Agholor and Matthews can be a solid WR2/3 combo, but we need a #1, and not having to go to the draft and hopefully hit and develop a rookie would be nice.

This is the big final thing I need to see from Wentz. Partially due to the competition, he hasn't had to play from behind yet. His competitive nature and drive makes me think he'll handle it fine, but that really shows you what type of player you have. That's why I'm looking forward to the Steelers game, he'll almost certainly have to play from behind. Even if it's a loss, if he shows something in that situation it would really calm my nerves. That and if he starts taking care of himself.

He did a great job with the 2 min drill at the end of the first half on Mon night. They should have scored a TD on the drive, if it wasn't for the Matthews drop. They did get the FG though. And technically that drive was when they were behind!

The Ringer:

The best way to describe Belichick is the way Malcolm Gladwell described Steve Jobs: He’s a tweaker. Of course, it’s unfair to compare Jobs and Belichick, because one changed the world with his constant innovation and is recognized as an all-time genius, while the other invented the iPad.

We should've been in community the whole time!

Yoga really is the best.

I was raised to think it was hippy nonsense but it is great for your body, makes you feel amazing and for some reason inspired women to wear a modern version of spandex.

Nothing bad anyone could say about this.

Thank you India!

Not just women. You should see my bulge in a pair of yoga pants.

Those tricks only work on Patriots fans and hookers Ninja.

Unless there is a gullible Pats fan nearby you are going to have to go back to the tried and true method of Craigslist and cash if you want someone to address that.

Niners-Age, how is your DL looking? I'm guessing it'll be a step down from Miami/LA, but wondering how worried I should be.

Any TL:DR?

He basically addresses every anthem protest and how the more people say those things do nothing or are wrong, the more people stay quiet as these shootings of minorities by cops continue. And that we need to come together and acknowledge the real problem, and the real problem certainly isn't doing something during an anthem other than gaze into the distance, hand to heart, and do what you're told or expected to.
