Ported my DepthHaze and Adaptive Fog (used above) shaders to reshade 3. They're in the official repository of reshade now, so when installing reshade 3 you can download them right away. :)

Gears of War 4

Finally got an opportunity to get some decent cut-scene close ups of the characters without the motion blur this time.

Another AI question, so apologies in advance.

Is it normal to have the lens effects being removed when enabling the camera tools and instead gettings these linear shapes instead? Happens all the time btw, not just in this segment.

Something is wrong with your game, as that never happened to me! Back up your save-data, and reinstall the game.

Meh, it's not a big issue either way since you have to remove the camera tools window to take the shots, so I never see it. Made a big deal about nothing. :p

You want me to go blind:) lol...jk. Which game we talking about?
Like the shots above from Homefront: I see this done often by others too, I made this mistake almost always until some time ago: the game FoV (which is often quite high) is kept for a screenshot, so you get kind of a fisheye effect, which in most cases ruins a shot. Just try it, a low(er) FoV will in most cases make a shot better ;) You have to move the camera backwards a bit in some cases, but it's worth it. The closer you get to the subject, e.g. in a portrait, the lower you make the FoV.

Sure, i'll give it a try, but i think it was already low to begin with...i just checked and it's set at 60. But i'll go down a lil more and see what i can come up with.

^ Nice shots but please read the thread rules.

Limits: 2 screenshots per post. If you have more than 2, make more posts or use thumbnails.
Compression: Don't compress your screens or use a host that compresses them (Steam, Imgur).

Most of us also appreciate shots with no "logos" etc. on them ;-)

sorry im new.

the logo is unavoidable. its photo mode in forza horizon 3. as for compression, iono, thats the pic it takes.

It looks like you're using one of Flickr's downsamples though (the 1600px wide variant). That will add sharpening and compression to your shot. Best to grab the original and post that here.

You can avoid the logo. Once you take the picture, press B to go back to photomode instead of saving it, hide the UI and screenshot the game (I use Win+PrintScreen which saves it into Users\My Pictures). Make sure not to move the camera as the blur will be lower quality and you'll have to take the picture again.
