Enjoying the Mafia 3 shots! Looks way better than I imagined.

The game's high quality assets and great lighting are obscured by the game's shitty post-processing. You need to apply some serious lumasharpen via Sweetfx to counter the vaseline filter.

I tried.

Problem I had was that the game used a fixed camera with different addresses for position, rotation, etc for each scene. I had to give up.

CLOS2 was much more freecam friendly.

Sad to hear.

Is there any easy way to hide all HUD? I'm waitting one minute for HUD to be hide. :/

gedosato should work for that. (and you can also use it to render at a high resolution ;))

@Lime these shots look great :) The assets seem to be of much higher quality than the first level of the game I saw in the demo version which had low-res textures all over and low-res normal maps...

Trying to take some Nier:Automata screenshots, but all my 21:9 shots get resized to 16:9 shots when I try taking screens. Anyone knows how I can work around this?

*edit* Nvm, apparently N:A does some weird shit with the resolution and fucks stuff up. Downloaded a fix from someone and it's resolved.

These look so much better than Gears 4. They fucked up the art direction pretty bad with those shiny colors in the sequels.

Yeah, they really dropped the ball there. And not just that, but the magic that the 1st game had is simply gone in the sequels. I don't know how many times i replayed the first game, where with the other ones i played thru once and never bothered to go back for another run. Sad really what became of the series.

Gears 1 had a really great Horror vibe to it that the sequels all lost in favour of "badassness". I liked Gears 2 a lot, Gears 3 was meh, 4 was the worst entry yet. Like yourself i finished Gears 1 easily 10 times, i know it inside out, all the others? Not so much.

Yeah I just finished it yesterday and have to agree that Gears 4 is by far the weakest link in the series (for singleplayer anyway). I don't mind the aesthetics and new color palette though..I was getting tired of seeing the drab looking browns and greys in each sequel.

Reminds me of Harley Quinn!

I think it became a trend that some studios doing gritty games ended up doing more colorful "standardized" art direction and gameplay in subsequent titles. Like trying to "appeal to a wider audiencie" pr bs. In the end they just lost essence and became more generic cash cows.

Just a question regarding image hoster: imgur is not supposed to be used due to compression, so I've heard from many sources. But I can't spot a tiny difference between these two:

Even on large (>3 MB) screenshots at 4k resolution I don't spot a difference. Could someone elaborate on this 'issue'?

Well that's a bad example as both images are already decently compressed (605KB). But IMGUR does have an "upload in high quality" setting that doesn't obliterate images > 5MB.
