2025 | Xbox Games Showcase June 8th (10am PT // 1pm ET // 6pm UK)

Yeah, Clockwork, Mudang, Keeper, Cod tease, and this extended Outer Worlds 2 is just it for me. 2026 you think would be better based on Fable, PD, Gears, and Forza post GTA6 May Launch.

They seem to be going a lot more in on player and RPG customization

100% agree. It and Clockwork were game of the show for me.

But $80 for OW2 stings. I'll dl it in gamepass instead of buying a (hopefully) boxed copy to go next to my copy of the first one.

Everything was PS5.

I'm having a hard time wondering why anyone not investing in consoles, yet, would go with Xbox over PS5 (outside of Gamepass)...but I guess that's the point?
That's exactly the point plus Xbox games will now be $80 so most people would prefer using game pass instead of paying that on PS5.

This show convinced me that GAF is not a gaming forum. Sadly, this is not a forum to discuss games. it's becoming a drama generating content forum.

Mate it's fine to say when things are underwhelming with a lot of SHIT. Can't always be good and vis versa. Just enjoy the week on those few surprises while wait for the next stuff later!

Well. That was something...

Honestly, I really felt like that presentation well and truly blurred the lines between what is "Xbox" , what's on GamePass Day 1, and what's just some generic third-party product.

All I took from of it is that MS' future is generic, radioactive green.

Also, who sequenced that showcase? Anyone? It just felt completely random.

I'm kinda lost for words.
I think it was the best show this summer, but that is REALLY not saying much, obviously. At least they didn't have a complete shovelware flood like SGF and the SOP.

Honestly, I think Sony are the only ones playing it smart.

They got a lot of coverage both in this and Keighley's show. So its not even a competition anymore

They just did marginally more than they do on a standard quarterly SOP, and let the other shows do the job for them.

And I have to say, much as I get the appeal of this sort of "reveal season", its simply not a good way to draw attention to product.
Between the 3 shows very little stands out to me in my memory.

I stress this isn't a result of the product on show being lacking, but primarily a result of just being presented by an avalanche of product without much in the way of context.
