24 - The Game for PS2 announced

Really unimpressed with the graphics.
Considering the level studio Cambridge has reached with Primal and Ghoshunter I suppose it's the trailer that doesn't do the game justice.
 
I don't care how shitty this game might be, I'm getting it for the story alone. 24 fan till death! :O

Although I have some faith it will be a decent game. Maybe not TEH BEST GAME EVER but good enough.

How can you say that based on a crappy flash movie, for god sakes.
The game isn't out yet, fall 2005.

I will check it at the E3. Hopefull Mr. Bauer will be at the Sony E3 conference and do an on stage interrogation with an Xbox fan! :lol
 
Considering the genre I think the game looks okay. On level with the stuff that's out there. I hope they can pull it off decently.

Made by the same people who made Primal?I'm sure this will be a winner...I got that game for 5 dollars and still felt ripped off.
 
This could be good if there aren't some really stupid missions they have you do in order to drag it out for a full 24 hours. Since they mention hundreds of missions hopefully that means there are different ones you can play on a subsequent run through. And hopefully it isn't as linear as The Getaway.
 
I don't have much hope for the game, but the fact that it explains the ending of the second season is reason enough for me to get it.

It's interesting that they're going back in the 24 timeline for the game. I remember watching one of the extras on the DVDs and they considered going in the past for one of the next seasons, revealing more on Bauer's past. Like a prologue to season 1...only problem was that there would be no suspense since you'd know who would stay alive

I dunno, I would still like to see it happen. Keifer already killed that suspense when he told Leno he plans on keeping Jack alive for quite a while. He ain't goin anywhere. :O

I wouldn't really like a prequel to the first season. The only time I've wanted them to go back is to go back and make a season after the second season. I HATED how they ended the second season and then only had one line in the third season to answer it. Season three should have answered everything.

Studio Liverpul is the saving grace of SCEE right now. Wipeout Pure rocks so much it's crazy.
 
story has me interested. the animation like some other people have said is utter crap. i'll still play it for the story though.

Cambridge Studio = SCEEs best team

PRIMAL was an awesome game (so, after all, there wont be a new one)
Ghosthunter was a good game with shit-controlls = Average
But the 24-The Game controlls are good AND it looks good.
A lot of different genres in one game, 100+ missions and a superb atmosphere (during the few levels I saw). Looks very good!

So wait and see!

i dont think, that they are using the getaway engine. more likly is, that they are developed a better version of the streaming primal/ghosthunter engine. the look of 24 suggests it.
 
Here's hoping there's a "Kim Bauer has her hand stuck in the CTU vending machine while nearby a bomb is about to explode" mnigame.

Watching the video, I actually had a smile on my face... I love 24 and it is the only show I watch on TV, the other nights I flick on the remote.

I might have to borrow my buddies PS2 to play this game... damn exclusives... where is my X-Box or X-Box2 or PS3 version...
 
I can't believe Sony got exclusivity on this. I can't afford to buy a damn PS2 just for this game. Guess I'm gonna have to borrow one from a friend or something....
