Welcome to the Nintendo Power 'Three for Free' offer

Get three issues of the all-new Nintendo Power for FREE!

This offer, exclusive to My Nintendo members, requires that you register or have registered three Nintendo products and have a verified email address. After your three-month trial is over, you'll be able to nab 12 issues for $12 [$15 Cdn.]. That's an 80% savings over newsstand cost!

not bad, i guess.

I signed up for it.

I didn't really use my registered products yet, so I figured this was a good bargain.
I don't even think that your products are "used up" when you take an offer.

What the hell, only select titles? I don't have any titles on the list, and I only have 2 hardware codes(Gamecube and Gameboy advance)...fuck 'em!

Yeah, this was posted a couple of days ago and I signed up for it. I'd love Nintendo to offer the Zelda demo from E3 as one of these bonuses.

I signed up.

Will the $12 offer work in conjunction with the free Player's Guide offer? If not, I'd rather go down the normal path and get the guide for Pokemon Emerald.

I forgot to mention that I got my confirmation email and it said that the first issue of this deal is the July issue.

Yeah, I signed up for this yesterday. I'm definitely taking advantage of the $12 subscription once my free issues are up. The magazine redesign looks nice.

i got an email for this last night and just signed up. Kudos for turning last year's hunt for registration codes for the MP2 demo into something beneficial. i'm not big on NP, but i guess it's worth it for the price. i'd really like the read the 8-bit music invasion piece, which is unfortunately in the June issue from the looks of it.

I hate you all
Go to any rental chain, and get the codes from the games on the list. Some retailers might have the codes in their games, though the cases are usually empty. You might get lucky -- it took me a couple of hours to get enough codes for the MP2 demo.

Or someone could be kind enough to PM me a spare code to go with my Gamecube and GBA code *angel halo smiley*

Or do you live outside of the US?

I didn't get my conformation e-mail yet. I signed up yesterday, but I'm still waiting. I might call customer service on Monday if it doesn't work out.

I signed up Tuesday night and didn't get the confirmation until Friday afternoon, just relax.

It's not like I need 3 codes, I have 2 already. Doesn't make sense for me to go out of my way, throw out $4(public transportation there and back), and troll stores for game cases and hope to find one of them with a code. If the games I have aren't good enough, screw 'em.

How do you not have three codes if you own any nintendo system?

Like every Nintendo-published title over the past two years for all nintendo systems has had a code. That's not exactly a handful of titles.

The only spare code I have is a Club Nintendo code from Band Brothers, I've been debating whether or not to give it out to someone from GAF that lives in Japan, so I guess now would be the best time. I mean I have no use for it and I don't want to end up forgetting about till after it expires next year. :P

So yeah, if any of the Japan crew would like to have it, send me a PM.

i'm worried.
From the site: "Please allow 4 to 6 weeks in the U.S. and 6 to 10 weeks in Canada for your first issue to arrive." :(

I've got a 3 year sub, but I did get 3 free issues tagged to the end of my current sub.

I didn't know they did that. Guess I didn't read enough. I'll have to tag that on to the end of my 3 year sub.

The real good offer is the $18 (?) cdn / $15 us NP subscription for 1 year after the 3 months expire.

I don't recall my subscriptions being this cheap in at least 10 years. I stopped subscribing 3 years ago.
