A 34-year-old English mother woke up convinced she was her 15-year-old self after suffering from stress-induced amnesia.

Naomi Jacobs went to bed one night in 2008 worried about her homeopathy business, psychology exams and her recent break-up with the father of her 11-year-old son Leo, the Daily Mail reported.

When she woke up she thought it was still 1992, with her most recent memory being that of a schoolboy she had a crush on.

"I looked in the mirror and had the fright of my life when I saw a woman with wrinkles staring back at me," she said.

"Then this little boy appeared and started calling me mum — that's when I started to scream."

Friends had to talk her through the last 19 years, including historical events, technology and her own life.

Using her old diaries and the help of others she has now managed to piece most of her life back together, and has written a novel about her ordeal.

There is no known cure for ‘transient global amnesia’, which affects five in 100,000 people

Imagine waking up thinking you're 15 and realize you have a kid, a husband, a job and you're almost 35! Does that mean she'd have the hots for 15 year old boys then? Enjoy teen movies and partying? How could you mature properly? That would be so weird.

Happened 3 years ago? The Daily Mail does frequently take urban legends/internet fiction and report them as fact to fill space.

Rigghhhttt, how conveniently inconvenient

or is that... inconveniently convenient... ?

Why would you say 'five in 100,000' instead of 'one in 20,000'? I'm not sure I believe that stat either, 20k isn't a lot. I could have easily met that many people in my life so far.

jesus christ i can think of nothing worse then being stuck in my teenage mindset again. That was a nightmareish time that needs to stay dead.

31 year old woke up as her 15 year old self, who found she woke up as her 31 year old self, who woke up as her 15 year old self, who woke up oh no I've gone crosseyed.

Why should we believe anything this snake oil saleswoman says? Seriously.

I'm skeptical as to whether or not her story is true.

However, if it is true I won't shed a tear over someone that runs a business dedicated to scamming desperate sick people out of money.

For people calling fake, this is a real thing.

I remember reading about a guy who stumbled into a hospital with absolutely no recollection of who he was.

Then again this woman is a homeopathy saleswoman so whatever.
