Well i only popped in and out, also I think there's a 10 streetpass limit if you don't go into the Mii Plaza to cash them in.Mank said:

And I'm sure this has been posted before, but for anyone who isn't having much luck with StreetPass, there are many, many groups out there dedicated to fixing that. So how does the 3DS streetpass work?
You leave the wifi running on the 3DS, and when you pass someone with a 3DS you are supposed to get a notification?
I just got back from a Las Vegas trade show and probably passed close to two thousand people everyday for 5 days without a single street pass experience. Each day, i racked up more than 14,000 steps. I feel like i can't be the only with one, right?

18 people (combined) in Puerto Rico and that's including a few repeats; and a guy I haven't talked in years..wow, good to see he's still into games...still...

Mine's alone too; though I put it to 'Yes' day one while experimenting with settings and stuff; it wasn't until I read online that if you don't activate it you won't get any. I heard that passing through demo units (like the ones in Best Buy, Gamestop) also sends something through StreetPass; but haven't tried or confirmed it yet.
So every day I check to see that Spotpass and StreetPass are on; just in case...
and every day my Mii is alone, and the only app that gets updated with Spot is the Pokedex 3D...

I had my first hit for days in GAME in Bath, and it was a female Nintendo Rep's machine. I was quite happy to see her.... until I realised she had no puzzle pieces that I didn't already have!
I've been walking all over the place to get coins, and spent 10 coins every day trying to get puzzle pieces, and for the last four days? No new pieces!
So so annoying! Bizarre how much I want to complete everything in StreetPass Quest... I am compelled and even tempted to loiter at game shops every time I go into town.

Got my first real street pass today! (FIRST one was my friend, who I had to go into his 3DS and update it for him, add the eShop, turn on StreetPass, etc so it doesn't count.)
I went bowling and when I got hom I took my 3DS out of my pocket and the little green light was glowing! I got so excited! (LOL) It was a dude from FLORIDA of all places (I'm visiting Santa Barbara, CA right now) and his Mii had cat ears! I didn't know you could do that! So awesome. Can't wait to get more! I keep my 3DS in my cargo pocket everywhere I go in hopes of getting more, hahahaha

Got a street pass hit on SF4, so when I clicked on it, it had my old team instead of all the new trophies I had gotten. I know I set up my new team since they were all looking at me right there, so what in the hell happened!? They had be battling with everybody at level 1 :^(

I really wish more people in the Chicago area had one. I even signed up for some of those meetup groups but it seems like only 1 or 2 people are all that is active. I guess I shouldn't complain when others here haven't even got one hit yet.
I usually take mine with me every time I go to the mall, if not for anything else, the steps. I will get at least one hit 8 times out of 10. Except for today when I went with the GF out for dinner and decided today of all days I was gonna be lazy and leave it home. As we are eating, in walks a family with 5 kids, all sporting a 3DS. DAMMIT!!!!
I would also recommend taking it with you if you often find yourself stuck in rush hour traffic. I have gotten two hits while sitting in rush hour with my 3DS sitting on the seat next to me.

I haven't had a street pass in two weeks.
Actually, that's a lie. I had one the other day in the Currys on Tottenham Court Road, from a member of staff.
I went through a good couple of weeks, getting them on the tube and out and about, but things have been very quiet recently.
I'm never going to get rescued from that cell!
Hopefully things will pick up with the price drop?

I hope a lot of you guys have really good luck getting more Streetpass tags. Like another poster suggested, try http://Meetup.com/Nintendo3DS and check your area. It helps too.
Well, got back.
Went to multiple places and malls, overall?...1 StreetPass. And it was from a demo unit at Wal-Mart since the Mii was the exact same one (guy in red shirt).
Still, was 1+ than I expected; so my Mii is no longer "forever alone".
Also tried the pedometer-aspects, and was nice. 2,900+ steps; 10 coins only. Thought it was 1 coin per 100 steps.

I've gotten ten tags since launch from carrying my 3DS in my bag almost every weekday to work (I'm in Boston). Judging by the timestamps, three of them were on my morning commute, but I've never encountered those people again in all that time since. I guess most people don't carry it everywhere with them... I don't even play it while out and about it's solely for StreetPass.
I've been sitting on 300 coins for a while. Buying puzzle pieces and heroes is SO monotonous. I wish they'd let you spend the coins in bulk. Hopefully some games come out that use them for something (maybe there are some that do already, I don't know), as at this point I don't really care to use them, and they feel a bit worthless.

There are two events happening this weekend in New York:
There is an unofficial event at Nintendo World on Friday, where StreetpassNYC gets people who bought a 3DS into Streetpass, and show them what it's all about.
On Saturday, there will be a picnic in Central Park in regards to Pokemon Black & White, and there will be a tournament for it. StreetpassNYC will be there.
If you live in NY and crave for Streetpass Tags, check these events out.

Out of all the people in Sea World I only got 2 tags. Was really hoping for more. Ugh... Also I was expecting to get some at the San Diego Zoo but I got 0. At least I took some cool pictures.

More tags on Saturday. I managed to finish my 2nd puzzle panel, Metroid: Other M, and close to completing my 3rd panel, Super Mario Galaxy 2 (2-3 more pieces left)
And I finally reached the final room in Find Mii (1st run though)
Damn shame the anime convention is gonna end on Sunday. Hopefully, I can at least get the SMG2 panel done and do some reasonable damage to the armored fiend

I feel sorry all the people who aren't having much success with StreetPass. I'm guessing most of those people just live in smaller cities. I know how that is... But I live in a bigger city now, and I have no shortage of StreetPasses. I've got 186 Miis in my StreetPass Mii Plaza, and 958 StreetPass tags. Finished Puzzle Swap and Find Mii months ago.

I've had my 3DS since April, and just got my first StreetPass hit yesterday. I live in a rural area and I don't go out much, but I always bring my 3DS when I do.
I really hope the price drop means more opportunities for StreetPass hits, though I can't say for sure if it influenced mine. The guy didn't have a hat on, but he seemed to have like half of the pieces of one puzzle if I understand how that works properly.
