I went to a Best Buy the other day and was near their demo unit- no hit!

I'm starting to wonder if my settings are off, but in Mii Plaza, this is what I have:

Street Pass: Yes
Invite Mii: Yes
Rating: Receive
Skip Greeting: No

I can't think of anything else I'm doing wrong!

I think what's more amazing is tourists form Japan have their streetpass on.

Not really, I have my streetpass on as well. Travelling in foreign country is the perfect opportunity to get some Miis with international flair.

Everybody whining about "only" getting 2 streetpass tags can seriously shut it! I've carried the thing around since launch even in busy areas and haven't had a single tag. I've triple checked all the settings. Either I'm supremely unlucky or there could be something wrong with my unit :/

This is a good way to power up your Mii's for Find Mii. Passed by my local gamestop the past two days and I've got a decent Mii. Gonna pass by there daily on my coffee break to help beat that damn game.

Streetpass finally worked for me and my co-worker today. Yesterday, we practiaclly stuck them together and got nothing. Today, he just passed by my locker while I had the 3DS on sleep mode and I got his Mii and his figures beat mine in SSFIV.

PROTIP - In Mii Plaza, use the new Mii's for the game as soon as you get them or else you can't later unless you pass by that person again.

I went to the busiest mall in Vancouver area (Metrotown) and got 4 Mii's and 2 SSFIV figure battles..

Not bad for a first outing with my 3DS

Just got back from Wonder Con in San Francisco today. Had a total of 72 street pass exchanges on my 3DS.

On a side note. Each game has a max of 10 street pass trades. So once you get 10, you won't get anymore until you check them.

It was pretty cool though knowing there were all these people with a 3DS who were just walking by me unknowingly. I saw a few people playing with theirs and it made me wonder if I had their mii in my street pass.

It was a success! Two of them appeared to be the two c
lerks. The rest might have come from my purposely long and out of the way detour through the mall.

Spot Pass I believe is something like updates/patches/DLC when your system is in sleep mode with wifi connected so I think you won't get one unless Nintendo puts out something.

In the top left corner on the main OS screen? That just means its searching for signals. If you're not connected to wifi, it'll show that.

Got my first hit last night.

The day before yesterday I had taken a stroll down my street, which is somewhat of a shopping district, to see if I'd get any hits. I got nothing, so yesterday I walked up to the nearest shopping center for lunch, browsed JB, the Apple store, GameTraders, etc, and still got no hits.

Then last night I ducked to the supermarket just across the road for some dinner, and that is where I got the hit.

I don't believe there's a limit...although you can only hold 10 passes at a time. Once you hit 10 you have to go into the game to clear them out for another 10.
