Can't you streetpass the Best Buy demo system?
Can't you streetpass the Best Buy demo system?
It kind of just chucks that and other explanations into the notifications menu. it's not surprising that people would gloss over that and the other instructions in there.Well, the system does tell you about Streetpass when you first get it and every game asks if you want to turn it on. If you somehow miss that then you're just not even trying to read.
As of just now, I've finished every puzzle and all of the levels in Find Mii. With 25 street passes and a ton of play coins.![]()
At least you could put those Streetpasses to use. I've had everything completed for months. ;_;
Chin up, new 3DS firmware is said to be coming real soon, complete with new StreetPass stuff.![]()
Today was the first time I took my 3DS with me and I got 3 Mii's and one new level in 3D Land in only two hours. That's actually kinda amazing considering the town I live in and the time of the day I was out.
Living in NYC, I'm always amazed at how few tags I get in crowded areas. I live in Williamsburg and I don't think I've gotten a single tag in my neighborhood. The only places I can consistently get tags are Times Square and Nintendo World.I can conclude that those who attend the Royal College of Music and those wait outside the Royal Albert Hall for their show to begin do not use 3DSs after I git zero streetpasses last night.
Yeah, the rate has definitely picked up with Mario out.
I have 3 tiles left of my last puzzle (Kirby) and I'm currently in the process of fighting the final boss of my second play through of Find Mii (I have all the hats except for one).
There is one guy on my commute (no idea who it is) that I tagged for the 5th time yesterday. It is so much fun going into Find Mii with a crusher.
Where do you see his times?I love the Streetpass in Super Mario 3D Land. The mystery boxes are meh, but trading stage completion times is great. There's someone who must be in one of my classes that also has the game and is trying to complete stages quickly. Our times are always within a few seconds of each other. Some of mine are better, and vice versa. I don't even know who the guy is, but it's almost like we're rivals.
I have some questions
1. Super Mario 3D Land - how does StreetPass work if you have two people sharing the same physical cartridge but they have their own separate game save slots and play the game on their own 3DS? How does it differentiate between the two save slots when doing StreetPass? Therefore what data is transferred?
2. I noticed that people refer the same gamemode as StreetPass Quest or Find Mii. Is this named differently depending on the country?
3. Hiring a hero - on my 3DS when I hire a hero I always get Cats. However a friend from the same country has Dogs appear! Is this random and are there other types?
I'm really looking forward to the added StreetPass update. I've got a bit bored of it since completing all my Puzzle Swaps in one hit at the London Zelda concert!
Heh, something cool happened to me yesterday. The guy sitting by my side at the bus also had the 3DS, and we were both playing SM3DL at the very same point in the game (World 7-Boss) so we started rushing to see who could get further during the trip. He beat me reaching 8-5, I still was at 8-4
There was also another girl on the bus playing according to the Mii Plaza but we couldn't locate her.
May I ask where you are from? Three 3DS player in one bus, must be streetpass heaven!
That 3DS firmware update is coming on the 30th, for anyone who missed that news.
America will get an exclusive Xenoblade puzzle. For fun, I'm going to predict the next batch of StreetPass puzzles (assuming another set of 7).
I did indeed miss that news... is this the one with the messaging app and video recording etc?
America will get an exclusive Xenoblade puzzle.
2. I want to say it's called find mii for everyone and maybe streetpass quest is what we call it
Going to Cardiff on Saturday, I'm expecting some Streetpasses (especially for 3D Land).
I wish it was capable of accepting more than 3 at a time.
