3DS Streetpass Experiences

You can expand that down the sides (so it goes from 5*3 to 7*3) while waiting for that elusive piece too. But I recommend only doing such setups after finding stairs...

I think they are
B rank weapons with rare, high level abilities and +2...I have seen weapon ranks go up when they become +1...
Yeah, it has happened 2 or 3 times. I have a couple of A rank weapons now.

They're not in the U.S. version. Are you EU?
You are right, I mistook one or two families listed in the shop as rare breeds.

Clock abuse is generally a bad idea but wouldn't it better to probe the past for play coins.

I understand some people like to go on a ~2500 steps route and set the clock such that it will roll onto the next day after you reach 1000 steps (so like ~23:53). It takes experimentation to work out your time...
Unless you meet with the play coin bug.

Do I miss anything in the Mansion game when I never fight a monster?
I regulary meet my girlfriend, who's 3DS is lying next to mine and one neighbor with the same color. So I only get light blue puzzle peaces which end up to fill the whole floor. It's great for getting chests but I nearly never get a monster to fight :) I'm floor 3 now and I'm afraid that when I meet a monster, I get crushed due to no experience gain :D

BTW What is and when can you meet a majesty in the war game?
Oh and why do you get soldiers in packs of one of the three types (horse, sword, bow) and when you choose your army (in a fight) this is not even taken into account. I don't get it. At first I thought "oh shit, horses again" but it doesn't even matter :( That said, six countries left and I'm the masterking :D

You don't gain any experience, your weapons do. All those items you are getting from chests will soon fill your box (99 is the limit), so you will end up doing this:
- Transforming items/weapons into gems.
- Fusing weapons with other weapons (which requires gems) to give them experience.
So, I wouldn't worry about it.

I am guessing by "majesty" you mean "monarch". When you do a streetpass with someone who also has the game, you have the option to greet him or fight him.
About the other: it's just an animation. You decide how to divide your army to your benefit depending on the foe's army, that's the whole point of the game. It would be silly and bothersome if the unit's numbers were fixed.

I don't think difficulty is much of an issue in Mansion.

There are usually a set of mandatory enemies on each floor anyway. And bosses at certain intervals.

I just spent 405 play coins in Puzzle Swap completing the Starlets and Xenoblade pieces (whoever programmed Puzzle Swap chances/RNG/algorithm is a sadistic asshole! >:( )
No pink pieces, of course, which I guess I'll get by reseting a 3DS the next time special Miis are released for more than 1 or 2 days [like E3 week].

I got a team-up for the first time in Mansion.
It came just before I fought the floor 10 boss, so I appreciated it.
I am on the 11th floor with constant tags and still haven't got the team up option with any Mii. They just offer gems and puzzle boxes.
Did the console where that teamed up Mii came from had the Monster Manor game purchased? Meaning you can only team up with people who have bought the new games, because I am in the 11th floor and I haven't had a single team.

The chances of me streetpassing someone who has the new games are practically null, so there are a bunch of Monster Mansion and Warrior's Way tickets that I won't be getting ever :\

Yeah, I think it has to be with someone who has Mansion.

I think the wording in-game was something like 'If you Streetpass with someone with a weapon you can team-up'.

You're not missing much. I think they just give your stats a boost.

But mah tickets/hats! D:

I haven't looked at the ticket requirements recently.

I was disappointed that I didn't get any tickets yesterday when I:

Teamed-up for the first time
Finished my third puzzle box
Beat the level ten boss

They all seemed notable achievements.

Man, Mii Force gets so hectic later on. Im having so much trouble with these last few levels. I dont know why but I always lose myself in the chaos.

I should probably make the effort to chat to the people working in my local GAME store.

I imagine they think I'm a weirdo or a shoplifter for coming in so often, doing a tour of the shop, then leaving without buying anything.

Street passing every time I go out now a days. I get tags about 80% of the time. Every time I go downtown in Madison wi I'm garrenteed to get at lest one.

I should have done that when I was there in Madison, WI last Fall! I miss that place, go Badgers!

Despite there being at least a couple thousand people at the warped tour, only got 3 streetpass tags :/, damn kids!

...after the substitution of the R button (not working)

The clock of 3DS was "back in time" at 1/1/2011 ...and when i restore the right date the 3DS don't see other 3DS.

The wifi is working ...we play multi Animal Crossing New Leaf offline.

Anybody can help me?
No more problem.

The "wrong" 3DS have simply meet other 2 3DS ...and the following day the 3DS have "StreetPassed" my other 3DS too :)

I was taking public transportation and someone was playing their 3DS XL; damn you for not closing your system.
I had to get off the next stop.

You can have it open and play 3DS games. I had green flashes while collecting pieces.

But you can't play DS games.

Two questions:

1) Why is the Kitsune costume in the Mario hats? What's the reference I'm not getting?

2) How in the holy hell are you supposed to beat the last country in Warrior's Way?!

I just spent 405 play coins in Puzzle Swap completing the Starlets and Xenoblade pieces (whoever programmed Puzzle Swap chances/RNG/algorithm is a sadistic ***hole! >:( )

Spent ~1300 on 124 pieces across 8 puzzles way back when to catch up. Now spend ~200 per puzzle getting all the blues when they come out to not fall behind. It'd be way nicer to not give you the pieces you already have, but guess they wanted to discourage coin usage to complete the puzzles. If they let us get Streetpasses through Spotpass or something, that may make sense. As it is for those without a large pool of Streetpassers, it's leads to these kinds of ridiculous coin usages. 405 for 64 pieces is actually pretty good. :)

2) How in the holy **** are you supposed to beat the last country in Warrior's Way?!

Either have 300K+ and win 3:2 or win/tie enough to finish with more army characters than him. Ties don't take characters away from either side.

Nope, I've streetpassed while playing a game before.

I think it depends on the game , I was playing Animal Crossing at a convention and I saw the green light constantly blinking.

I've street passed while playing Find Mii. Shit be crazy.

Yep, I street pass all the time while playing a game. I think closing the 3DS is a myth. I'm in NYC, so I get a good amount of passes daily.

You do not send or receive passes in DS mode or playing Ambassador games, I believe. But VC, 3DS downloadables, and 3DS retail all let you streetpass while active.

Closing the 3DS definitely accelerates the StreetPass procedure, in my experience. I got three StreetPasses today travelling to central London!

I thought it was the only way to get streetpasses, until I googled it today. I learned that I can still play most 3DS games and get a streetpass tag.

Also, I'm going to Toronto soon and I'm wondering where the best places to get a streetpass. I'll be staying downtown and I assume places like Eaton Centre will be good for it. Any other places, Toronto GAF?

Got two Streetpasses out shopping for a bit today. Rather painful to see everybody I Streetpass with having hundreds of tags, whereas I only have six non-Spotpass tags since March.

I'm rather fortunate in that there are 5 other employees at my work who have and bring in their 3DSes. Hoorah for daily Level 10+ Miis!

Now that I have had extensive play time with the new SP games during the weekend, I can honestly say that I should have only bought Mii Force and Warrior's Way instead of getting the bundle. Got sick of the tutorials/lessons in the flower game and the mansion game is boring as hell

You sure you're not getting the mansion and warrior game mixed up? :P

Also, similarly, after having stuck with the flower garden game, I contend that it's actually quite a deep, content-rich experience - self-evident in the amount of tutorial required - but unfortunately marred by the incremental gameplay fragments.

It picks up a bit though once you start building up enough money from selling flowers and unwanted harvested seeds.

Everyone that I've tagged has been Level 1 whenever I play something like Find Mii, yet at least one of them is clearly a very experienced player (he had almost every puzzle piece, had 8,000+ army men in that rock/paper/scissors game). Is there anything I need to do different?

Level is based purely on how many times you've passed each other. It has nothing to do with each other's skill etc.

With the new Nintendo Zone relay program incoming:

Do you have to enter the business or start that app? Or can you just drive past the location to collect the Mii?

I'm curious - I would love to complete the FE:A puzzle (3 pieces left ). Using coins is futile, as the bird just delivers old pieces Ive collected (or from every ither puzzle) more often, than not :0(

I'd like the 10 passes limit removed, I'd love the 10 coin limit removed, I'd love puzzle pieces to be new when using coins (or at least a say as to which puzzle you'd like to collect pieces from, when using coins)...

I'm sure I read somewhere that not all retail games allow StreetPasses during play, I think Ocarina was mentioned as one that didn't for whatever reason. Is it as simple as if the wireless light is doing that pulsing thing it does then it's ready to accept them and if it isn't (I noticed playing a DS game last night the network light stays solid in that mode) then it won't?

Okay, thought this might be the place to post it. Probably more answerable by people who have regular access to 2 3DS'.

My brothers (blue) 3DS XL almost always gets 3x as many street passes as my (red) 3DS XL does. To make it more clear, I've been carrying both 3DS' around with me for a week or two now. Anyone able to explain this phenomenon?

I get 3, he gets 10. I got 1 today, he managed to get 4.

Not really sure why one specific 3DS would consistently attract the majority of the passes.

There's obviously potential for a lot of variation regarding signal timing and strength, but you would think things would average out.

I always get more StreetPasses with my black 3DS than my wife's red 3DS. I have an extended battery on mine so I just assumed that was probably a factor.

Does anyone know what the approximate range of Streetpass is?

I never get any so today I've left the 3DS in the front window at home, about 10 feet from a main road. I'm just wondering if 10 feet is too far for Streetpassing.

Think I read 90 feet on the Nintendo site. I got a StreetPass at the bus stop the other day with nobody within 40-50 feet of me.

Well you're not that likely to get Passes from people driving fast down the road. How busy is the sidewalk?
It's the main road to a secondary school so there's plenty of foot traffic from the young 'uns.

I had to buy a replacement 3DS yesterday so I now have to start the whole streetpass shebang from scratch. I'm hoping this'll be a quick way to do it.
