Sounds underwhelming so probably true. Not sure about the RAGE engine though.
 
While that's not a lot of new content I'm hoping we get the summer update and December update as usual. That's where the real content gets added.
 
I know its not realistic to expect that but i would love a light BeamNG type of car damage. It would be so fun
 
The OST must be fixed, right now, it is a shame what GTA V offers in this case.

OST in GTA IV was bad too.

GTA VC was outstanding, GTA SA was solid!
 
VR would be great, especially for the PSVR2, but it's probably a lie. If it had VR support I'd buy GTA V one last time.

If this is the kind of upgrades we're getting, I'll definitely buy it again. If it's just the same shit with higher PC settings, then I'm good.
 
Man, just to think about it, some people already triple-dipped on GTA5, and they're about to do it for the 4th time.

i've been pissed at R* forever because they didn't add all that stuff to SP. if these rumors are true and it doesn't come as a free update then holy shit i will throw money at R* again.

EDIT: wait... WTF this isn't coming to PC? that can't be right. or maybe they are gonna make PC just like they did between 2013-2015. i will fucking fight all you trying to get a PS5 if that's the only way i can play this.

I'm not buying anymore GTAVs.

There's no more milk to be made of this cow I now realize how stupid this sentence was with the billions they're making with GTAV multiplayer. Still not buying anymore GTAVs though.

It's already on the RAGE so how can it be redeveloped on RAGE? It's going to be the pc version in 4k and maybe 60fps if we're lucky but remember this is Rockstar, they couldn't be arsed to do a Pro/X patch or fix things like HDR in RDR2, etc.
 
I forgot all about this gaming have a first person mode. VR would certainly be interesting.
 
I just want some of those pc mods to make it over to ps5/series x. Increased resolution, textures, draw distance and ray tracing.

I'm guessing it means ported to the latest iteration of the rage engine, which.....

The refined 2018 version of the RAGE engine supports physically based rendering, fog values, pre-calculated global illumination, volumetric clouds, and fog values.

Whether that makes a massive different though who knows.
 
Is it possible to increase pedestrian and vehicle traffic on the pc version? Cause that's my biggest let down with the already released versions.

Fog values soo good it gets mentioned twice! Also going off RDR2, yeah it'll have slightly better overall looking weather and pretty clouds, but is that really worth paying full price for this nearly decade old game?
 
Underwhelming?? lol

My expectations are waay more underwheling than this: 4K / 60 with better loading times.

"Improved pathfinding/AI" alone would demand tons of work

New stranger missions would require the actors for the main characters to reprise their roles, so unlikely and possibly bullshit.

"Over 100 new licensed songs", lol. Keep dreaming.
 
I had this game on PS3, then on PS4, got it free on PC with Epic Games... Going to pass on this E&E edition no matter what's in it, it won't be worth full price again.

They recently added nearly 300 songs for free on GTAO last year, and Rockstar Games have recently partnered with a record label, so out of all of them, this one is actually most plausible. Sure they're all dance/EDM stations but they're still counted.
 
All for the low price of 60 dollars!

Look, I like GTA V, whilst it's not as good as 4, is it really worth triple dipping for unless they offer a decent upgrade path for previ......

Wait, 2k games. Nevemind.
 
In what world is a complete engine rewrite, increased physics and damage models, 100+ new music tracks, AI and density increase and fucking VR support "underwhelming"?

What else were you expecting?
