In the year or so I've been lurking, I notice that no one ups any PSP vids (here). Is that a ToS violation?

I haven't seen this asked yet but will this allow PSP games to run directly off the HD, similar to the HD Loader?

The people tripping on how it looks must really not get the point (4GB).

Looks like a good first gen product.

I'd definetly wait for a review of the product first but my initial thoughts are that the transfer rates are probably going to be on par with a UMD and will probably heat up the right side of the PSP.

It's probably just a modified compact flash hard drive with an adapter board to make it work with the MS slot. Those drives are pretty darned slow and sucks quite a bit of juice. Unless the data transfer is at least on par with using a memory stick then I'd rather just carry two sticks rather than bulk up the PSP. Too bad the slot isn't high speed.

Maybe someone will even come out with a battery cover that has a built in storage slot for a spare stick.

Yeah, if you've got a PSP capable of homebrew, you've always been able to do this, with memory sticks.
