It's the holidays, so let's review this method for saving money. It's the least I can do to pass this on to people who still aren't aware of this method, since I originally learned it at GAF. I've tweaked it a little, though.
1. Best Buy gift cards come in a variety of flavors. Find the video game gift card, which comes in a CD case and has a picture of a controller on it. On the back is a $5 coupon for video games or video game accessories over $19.99
2. Take item to a secluded area of the store
3. Discreetly remove gift card from case and rip out coupon from CD case.
4. Buy game with coupon
The old method involved putting money on the gift card, walking out, ripping out the coupon, then coming back in and using the gift card, coupon, and credit card/cash to finish the purchase.
I modified the technique today, however, because it would've taken me an hour to stand in line twice due to the impending holidays.
I'm really not too bright though! I mean shit! C'mon guys, give me a ban!
