The chart-topping hip-hopster cut short his set at Britain's Reading Festival over the weekend after getting booed and pelted with plastic bottles by a hostile audience just minutes after he began performing.

Accompanied by his G-Unit crew, 50 Cent hadn't even taken the stage at the legendary U.K. music bash on Sunday evening when the cranky crowd of 55,000 began yelling insults at the former crack peddler and hurling plastic cups.

Dre's beats are undeniably good, Eminem's are shit, however i wouldn't necessarily give 50 credit for his production values.
I can't believe i bought that guy's cd....

I bought it also... I felt like an ass the first time I tried to find some good music... But I did buy the single to freestyle on...

"In Da Club" was a banger, no doubt. But it's really only because of the track.
I could take Dre's beat, and loop cats meowing for 3.5 minutes and still have no qualms about banging that shit in my car....

I Agree.

But Eminem seems to be stepping up his producing skills lately. I loved both "On Fire," and "Warrior Part II" both beats are very good.

How the hell could anybody confuse this dumb mumbling moose for somebody with talent?

"Humma humma inna clerb anna humma humma inna clerb clerb."

No wonder he got booed off stage, people that go to Reading are far too smart to get caught in the hype you Americans generate around untalented, b-grade artists like fiddy.

Omg he has a gold chain and a bullet wound, who cares if he sounds like a mentally retarded child, I'm buying his album!

Btw, no offence meant to any of the braindead 50 cent fans we may have here.

Spice Girls are almost legends at this point. So many hits from just 2 CD's. They were the kind that had good songs throughout. The very opposite of one-hit-wonders.

The crowd at Reading are probably not the sort of people responsible for the Spice Girls.

Hip-Hop & reading festival doesnt really mix, everyone ive ever known who has been, went for the indy/rock/ska stuff.

Plus Fiddy is probably the worst 'mainstream rapper' ever. (Vanilla Ice 4 EVAH!)

Mad Skillz rhymed over the In Da Club beat on Kayslay's show and it killed the original. The beat is hot, 50 is not. And I'm glad I stayed away from that album. I like all of maybe 3 of his songs. And G-Unit sucks too. PEACE.

i assumed this was one of those britannia’s music ? america's music posts.

lawl apparently the rasmus only lasted 2 mins because the crowd were throwing mud at them. Also there was someone with a sign saying "It's spelt 'In The Club' " as well as "I did the girl in G-Unit" and "Burn the Rasmus"

haha

Actually, you can take all the good G-Unit pre-GRoDT tracks, 3 off of Lloyd Banks' album, another 4 off of Young Buck's LP, and put together a really good double album.
