50 cent: Bulletproof = True Dead to Rights Sequel?

This game is looking like it is going to be a better version of Dead to Rights, for which I have never played. I am a fan of rap, so I don't mind the 50 cent /thug aspect of the game. Several articles have been posted saying that the engine of the game is actually pretty decent.

Anyone else going to look at this game?

Be serious in your replies... I'm not trying to incite a flame war on rap or 50 cent by mentioning this game (I've seen some of the opinions posted on this board about both)

From the previews I've read it DEFINITELY borrows lots of gameplay ideas in terms of shooting, targeting, holding bodies as shields and disarms from True Crime.

It's made by the same people who made Fight Club, so I'm assuming it'll be a game with a great foundation that's smothered in crap.

There's a good reason for that. The team making it consists of several of the developers that did DtR for Namco, so it would be no surprise if they recycled some of the ideas.

I liked the original DtR, but 50 Cent is probably too annoying for me to pick this one up.

Oh shit I said disarms... so I meant to say it looks like it borrows alot from DTR... but I typed Truce Crime.. duh....

I liked the first Dead to Rights - it had a lot of design issues, but it was still mindless fun for a few hours. Mumblemouth, however, is annoying as fuck and not somebody I want to base a game on. I'm looking forward to Snoop's Fear & Respect a lot more than Bulletproof.

And considering 50 ate 9 bullets, shouldn't the title be "Bulletridden"?
