Popped into the local gas station for something to drink a barrel with Cherry Vanilla DP caught my eye so I walked over to it to find it full of Dasani(sp) water. I was like crap but decided to check the soda freezer. Got there and was out of luck but a light pink bottle with the label 7up plus. Now I admit that I'm not the biggest 7 up fan, probably my least favorite citris soda even behind Seirra Mist, but I enjoyed up7 and decided to give it a try. It's a mixture of berries, black berry and strawberry, as well as calcium and vitamins. It has a very appealing pink color to it. The taste is suprisingly crisp, with a strong berry flavor. Tastes nothing like other mixed fruit/namebrand favor such as Sprite Remix which has a strong Sprite taste with a hint of berry. DP could have very well given it a name completly devoid of the 7up brand as it has no 7Up taste to it. I'd give it a thumbs up.

As one who swore off soda years ago, I'm amazed by the explosion in "variations" that have popped up. Can't tell if it's good or bad, and for whom.

7up was better when it had no obvious Citrus taste. I have no idea why they decided to put that in and make it a run-of-the-mill lime soda.
