I'm looking forward to the next regular season of 90 Day where only ~30% of what you see is fake. This season of Before the 90 seems be like ~80% fake and it's ruining it a little bit for me.
BTW if anyone didn't know, the Tell-All (last episode of the season) was leaked online. It's a full 10 hours of footage that hasn't been edited down for airing yet. So from what I understand, a lot of it is boring. But there are some gems like baby girl Lisa saying the N-word and stuff.

This episode's highlights are definitely the David/Lana meetup and the Varya surprise visit.
You can tell they convinced Varya to go just for the footage. They probably paid her extra for the episodes since she'd be traveling. She seems to genuinely not realize what she's walking into, but the fact that Geoffrey was all mic'd up and ready to go at his house for the surprise visit is a nice glimpse into the way they create these scenarios. They're probably doing interviews with Geoffrey and Mary and scheduled it to make sure this happened.
Lana looked so damn uncomfortable. It's hilarious that she could never text with David, and had to do all communication through the pay-per-minute site because "she can't text with her long nails" and is then shown using her iphone and texting with her friend

Good episode overall. I feel bad for Varya since she's the most normal person on the show and yeah, she definitely got bamboozled into coming to the US. Yolanda continues to be the least interesting catfish in the history of the internet and Ed continues to get even less interesting after peaking too soon. I respect Usman's perseverance. I never tire of watching the delusion of an unattractive (post) middle aged American woman. It's great.
Looking forward to Geoffrey's sociopathic neurons exploding with dopamine as he realizes he has two women fighting over him while he plots his plan to kill them both and bury them in the wilderness of Tennessee.

That segment was weird this week because there was obviously a huge build up for it. But watching the Pillow Talk episode (yes, I watch the silly after-show thing, sue me) they didn't mention it at all. For those not aware, the Pillow Talk show is an after-show where they have other 90 Day Fiance former cast members laying in bed or on their couch watching this week's episode - and it airs right after the regular episode. So, obviously, these people get advance copies of the show and film themselves watching it then send the footage to TLC who splices the whole thing together into a kind of funny clip show.
But the fact that Varya and Geoffrey weren't mentioned in the after-show at all, it tells me that this segment was probably added to the episode way after the fact / more recently.

My favorite part is how Lana seemed completely over it before they even left the statue park area while homeboy was still jizzing in his pants. Sweet jesus the more we see of David with Lana the more he creeps the ever loving shit out of me. That completely derailed me, I started thinking about My Cousin Vinny and ended up watching clips for 20 minutes on youtube. But ya, David is a fuckin weirdo dude. I already thought he was an idiot and a super trick, but he's WEIRD. The fact that he doesn't seem to think that hiring a PI and rolling to her (fake) home address isn't completely crazy confirms that this guy is out of his fuckin mind. Also for being a former pro bowler the guy is straight doo doo in the lanes. Lana constantly looks (rightfully so) very uncomfortable but the guy still think it's a good call to propose to her? The Varya stuff is hilarious but I can't help but think we are being fooled here. That Geoffrey guy is an actor who has had bit roles on shows before. Varya is some radio host. Their whole interaction and her coming for 2 weeks but not having a hotel room and stuff all makes me think it's beyond fake. It even looked like Geoffrey was about to laugh at one point and the camera quickly panned away.
Who knows. But thankfully we still have Oldie Girl Lisa and the guy who thinks he's gonna come to America and be a famous rapper by ripping off the name of one who already exists. They had some good stuff.

Whoa I had no idea. Yeah there's definitely deception going on behind the scenes with this one. The laughing thing I think is probably more likely due to the guy being a complete psycho though.
Yeah Darcy along with Yolanda have been completely useless for about 2 months. I wonder if TLC has some kind of contractual obligation with the cast to make sure these boring ass storylines get a certain amount of screen time?

Regardless of whether or not the Geoffrey / Varya stuff is fake or not it's definitely fake, it's been a good teaching tool in my household since my son (20) has started watching the show with us.

So what are some Lana theories? Here are a few possibilities from my scattered brain:
- One of the several sites she works on was contacted by the 90 Day Fiance production and saw an opportunity to get their name out (Anastasia Date) on a big show by convincing Lana to finally meet up with the guy she's been fleecing for 7 years
- This gives the site some "legitimacy" back, because look, she wasn't scamming him after all! The site really is for true love! Don't start questioning your per-minute charges!
- Lana actually does want to move to America and get a green card, and none of the other marks were working out, so this was a good opportunity to jump on to get the photos needed for the K-1 and start the process with this mark
- Lana actually likes the guy in some way. Maybe she's actually flattered by his persistence. She was honest about hating his leather duster, so maybe she was being honest when she said she finds him handsome and enjoys his company

The first one definitely makes the most sense. There are a few times during the interviews and such that she looks absolutely terrified, like a mob hit man was right out of frame with a gun pointed at her head or something. But maybe "she's just shy". It may also be that TLC offered her a lot of money (I hear that all of the actors on this show get like $2,000 per episode in "appearance fees") and that her being on X number of episodes starts adding up into some serious Ukraine cash. Outside of that, she seemed like the only reason she went along with any of David's shit was so that they could take selfies together. My son: "WOW he un-ironically still uses a selfie stick? Lame."
Do you guys think she's actually 28? My wife and I think she looks a lot older. Those Ukrainian girls seem to age pretty gracefully and it's a common tactic of theirs to lie to their American sugar daddies about being younger than they actually are. She's definitely younger than David, but my wife and I put her around being maybe 40.

One of the recent 90DF, had a 35 year old Ukrainian woman, and they were acting like she was ready to be thrown in the garbage can. So if that's the culture, easy to see why people lie.

The new Happily Ever After was pretty good. When you don't have commercials and skip through the coming up parts and the recaps, it's some good TV.
Coltee is my favorite character. It's no shocker that Larissa's "friends" had the amazing advice of "find a sugar daddy!" That's the 2nd time on this show a group of girls have given each other that pathetic advice.
Fucking Elizabeth and "Ahn-diday" are a little repulsive to me, though. This fucking guy won't do shit and gave her dad shit just for trying to help, but is more than happy to live rent-free in a brand new, nice house all provided by Daddy. That whole family of daddy's girls is off-putting. The other sisters all became Karens because of the spoiled way they were raised as well.

My wife has been watching this hardcore the last few days. My office is right next to the living room so I've caught snippets of the show and I can't believe how ridiculous it is. lol I can't believe Angela went to that fertility "doctor" in Nigeria and was told she had "one egg." She started bleeding from her vagina at 54 years old and assumed she was "getting her period again." She goes to an American doctor who actually went to medical school and uses equipment from the past 10 years only to discover that the "egg" is potentially a cancerous tumor.
Really fucked up stuff, but there is a lot of humor in the doctor visit because the doctor keeps looking at Angela as if she's a creature from another planet (and she's not far off).
