I don’t understand why the mouse didn’t struggle?

If real it was one super hungry toad.

I have dissected a cane toad last year, but they have not spread to Western Australia yet so I don’t know much about them.

The cane toad mostly eats ants, termites and beetles. But it’s a voracious feeder and can eat a wide variety of insects, frogs, small reptiles, mammals and even birds.Perhaps the only limiting factor to the size of the cane toad’s prey is the size of its mouth!
