A 3070 for 1080/60 ultra?, wow. i guess that means the console versions are either 1080p. or 30fps.
you do know visual setting exist right? Console probably in mid settings without RT and such. So 60fps is still possible

Of course, like with most console versions. Still lowering the settings to like medium isnt suddenly going to give consoles a 4k/60 version.

RT probably is taken into account with those recomended settings too.

Hope they are using all that power for something that dazzles and it isn't simply poorly optimized

nah i dont expect 4k, i expect maybe dynamic scaling 4k or 1440 maybe?, mid textures, lower LOD, lower shadow quality, and some extra features missing on console and definitely no RT .
Its a realistic expectation from me.

PC ultra setting probably included max RT i guess.

I still believe theres a 60 fps mode for consoles though, if it doesnt, too bad i guess.

Seems a bit heavy for 1080p 60fps but I'll assume that's without DLSS being taken into account.

Probably going to get shit for saying this but the first game looked spectacular and played well for me at 4k 30fps with everything cranked.

Not sure why you would get shit for saying that, the first game was a beautiful game, albeit a pretty standard invisible coridoor game.

Wouldn't call it a "corridor game" by any means unless that's what we are calling anything that isn't open world these days? While it did funnel you down a single path, which is to be expected given it's story driven nature, some of the play areas were still relatively open and allowed you to take multiple paths (and/or use different tactics) in order to progress.

Thoroughly enjoyed my time with it and if the 2nd is more of the same then I'm in.

The first game ate my 5700 XT for breakfast. Almost 1080p120 maxed out or 1440p60.

Better visuals and RT this time around? Of course I'm expecting higher requirements.

Interesting to see more devs moving up to DX12 Feature Level 12_0 as a base spec (goodbye GCN1 and pre-Maxwell v2 GPUs). They'll probably still work on Linux thought with Vulkan, lol.

1080p60 Ultra needs an RTX3070?

Is this with RT?
Cuz a 6800XT should walk a 3070 in pure raster right?

Will be interesting to see how the consoles (Series S especially) fares when the recommended specs for 1080p 60fps is a fucking 3070.

My poor laptop... I can just hear the fans. I don't mind too much if I have to turn stuff to medium with no RTX.

So consoles will run this at 1080 60 medium then? 3070 is a tier above of both next gen consoles.
Proper next gen medium (or hell even low) settings should still look great.

Wouldn't shock me if the game is vram heavy which ruins the 3070

I'm done with my 1060 3GB and just got it last year lol, can't get a new GPU now nor a console, so I'm gonna try it and see how it runs, I'm ok with sub 1080p@60 fps at medium anyway, the GPU is my only bottleneck since I meet or exceed the rest
